Pergamon Ancient City
Your guide and driver will pick you up you and then you will be on the way. You will visit the breathtaking Acropolis, which was modelled after the site in Athens. The beautiful view from the hill-top will give you a great panorama of the surroundings. Marvel at the impressive Athenaeum library once held 200,000 volumes, which Mark Antony later offered to Cleopatra as a wedding present. The Temple of Trojan is a huge marble building that has been partially reconstructed from the original pieces found on the site.
The Asklepion
Following on from this you will discover the famous Sanctuary of Asclepius, located down in the valley from the Acropolis. A sacred fountain where people with health problems could bathe can be found here and legend has it that Asclepius would then give them a vision and explain how they could be cured.

5.00Had an amazing tour with Selçuk as my guide throughout Pergamon. He had extensive knowledge about all the history of the area and was super friendly and funny. The ride was quick and comfortable in a luxurious van driven by Cemal who was efficient and safe. The lunch stop was also very delicious. All together a great day trip to see a beautiful ancient city. I highly recommend this tour when in Izmir!

5.00We had a great time visiting Pergamon Ancient City and The Asklepion. The tour indeed had exceeded our expectation! Our guide, Mehmet, was very knowledgable, enthusiastic, and well-versed in Greek and Roman history. The trip was well-organized, and the vehicle was very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00We did the tour in an extremely comfortable vehicle, with an excellent driver. But the highlight was the experience with guide Mehmet Kadir. The explanations and anecdotes about the Acropolis and the Asclepeion were great and helped us understand the importance and grandeur of this incredible city. Details about the construction or how the water supply was obtained in a city on top of a hill. Also interesting details about the philosophy behind a rest and healing center such as the Asclepeion, which combined healthy living, the origins of medicine and the cult of the gods, led at the time by Galen, were presented in a pleasant and attractive way. It has been one of the best experiences I have had visiting ancient cities.

5.00We did a day tour to Pergamon from Izmi and had a nice time. Our guide Selcuk, was on time, professional, and had good communication skills, In English. He even gave us recommendations for dinner, and it was also a hit. The jaw dropping tour to see Pergamon was very interesting and should not be overlooked. I Definitely recommend this tour operator and guide as they did a fantastic explaining the history. The choice for lunch was Tasty even though the placed was a bit small.

5.00Anything you would ask could be fulfilled, there is private tour on Mercedes for 350 euros with the guide in your spoken language. We had a nice tour to Pergamon with a very friendly Cihan! We truly enjoyed all the museums and onyx factory

5.00Our visit to Bergama was truly enjoyable thanks to Selcuk. From the very beginning, he was punctual and well-organized, which immediately gave us confidence in the day’s plan. His knowledge of Bergama’s history and culture was impressive, and he explained everything clearly and engagingly, making even complex historical details easy to understand. Selcuk has a great sense of humor, and his well-timed jokes added warmth and energy to the tour without ever taking away from the learning experience. He was very attentive to our pace and interests, always making sure everyone was comfortable and involved. In addition to the tour itself, his restaurant recommendations were excellent. The places he suggested offered authentic local food and made our experience even more memorable. Beyond his professionalism, Selcuk was extremely friendly, polite, and approachable, which made it easy to ask questions and enjoy casual conversations along the way. Most importantly, Selcuk proved to be very reliable and trustworthy throughout the entire tour. Everything ran smoothly and on time. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone planning a visit to Bergama, and I would gladly choose him again for a future tour.

5.00Excellence, from the time at pick up, the tour guide was patient in waiting for me, the ride was so smooth, a immaculate clean car with water available, drive was so smooth, stop at the bathroom or needs for food and coffee,the tours to all the sights were impeccable, each location was extraordinary, the information the knowledge the details at each location surpassed anything I could have imagined, the tour guide patience, kindness and consideration on time management were incredible, I’d say MEHMET my guide is excellence at its finest, you would really love this tour and the experience. Don’t hesitate book and truly have a memorable experience.

5.00Fantastically organized day trip to the ancient ruins of Pergamon from İzmir city centre. Effective, fast communication, pick up/drop off was on time, without any problem. The car is clean, cosy, spacious. The guide is superb, very open and knowledgeable, full of interesting stories. It was a perfect opportunity to get a deep insight into the ancient times.

He took me to Pergamon by his car, he gave me all the time some insightful and interesting info about the sites we were visiting. It was all really good! Warmly recommended
Pergoman without the crowds

5.00Had a great experience seeing pergoman and The Askelepion with Mehmet. Zero crowds due to the fact it is late September but the weather is still perfect so this time of year is my favorite for traveling. Mehmet has been leading tours in this area for 30 yrs and his knowledge is unparalleled. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend.
