Early departure from Amman to Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk or ride a horse down to the entrance of the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the Treasury. The tour continues to the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs. Return to Amman.

Petra - Wadi Musa

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Amman in a private vehicle to start the tour. Depart south to the Rose-Red City of Petra, the ancient city that was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts with a private guide walking through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra's most famous monument; the Treasury. After the visit, return to Amman.

Petra is amazing and Jordan Direct Tours made it so easy to get there, even though our time was very limited. Our driver and the guide were amazing and knowledgeable. I will recommend Jordan Direct Tours to all of my friends and coworkers. They made everything so easy to coordinate and we didn't have to worry or think about any aspect of the day's excursion. They even coordinated pickup and return to the airport!

Suha personalized our tour so we did the tours we wished. Zohair our driver was so knowledgeable and helpful. We loved visiting Dead Sea, Petra and jerash. We always felt safe and everyone we met was so kind. We loved being in Jordan!

The trip was exceptional in every way. I would like to emphasize that Victoria Coronado has made impeccable with the organization of our trip, even though we had several complications that made the logistics difficult (attributable to us only). He helped us at all times and offered us all kinds of solutions. Unbeatable journey thanks to her. Very grateful to her and the agency for everything. Likewise, our driver, Azmi, was also especially attentive and professional. A real pleasure to be able to travel with him. The agency is highly recommended. If we came back, we'd have no doubt we'd hire her again.

Definitely go in the front for the big reveal of the Treasury, then head out the front and take the shuttle bus to the back door for the most amazing views and hike into Petra, 6.5 miles in .

Never had a private tour which combined a daily mix of breathtaking touristic highlights (Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, Jerash, Amman) and of flawless organisation! Kudos to Jordan Direct Tours and a special shout out to our driver Wahel Eseed!

All our guides were amazing and we enjoy a lot our trip. We took the tour from Amman, Petra, Wadii Rum and Dead Sea The driver was very nice and we enjoy all our journey with him, the hotels we liked even that we did not spend too much time on them as we were traveling from one place to other haha. The guides in each place were also very nice with us and took a lot of picture as we requested. I really recommend Jordan Direct Tour as they were always open to help me with all my inquiries.
