Passing by the majestic of Wadi Rum desert and the Sharah Mountains direct transfer about 2 hours to the rose red rock city Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. The legendary capital of the Nabatean is famous for its grandeur and marvelous architecture, and you have the opportunity to see a part of it today. Upon arrival at the Visitor's Centre start with your guided tour to the Siq, a narrow gorge, until you reach the beautiful Treasury, Al Khazneh, the most famous monument of Petra. From here continue along the Street of Facades and if time permits to the Royal Tombs.

In the morning our representative meets you with a signage in your name outside the front of your ship. Passing by the majestic of Wadi Rum desert and the Sharah Mountains direct transfer about 2 hours to the rose red rock city Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. The legendary capital of the Nabatean is famous for its grandeur and marvelous architecture, and you have the opportunity to see a part of it today. Upon arrival at the Visitor's Centre start with your guided tour to the Siq, a narrow gorge, until you reach the beautiful Treasury, Al Khazneh, the most famous monument of Petra. From here continue along the Street of Facades and if time permits to the Royal Tombs. Walk on your own back to the Visitor Centre. After buffet lunch at a restaurant return transfer to the cruise ship in Aqaba with the memories of an exciting day.

5.00Extremely well organised tour, conducted by a private driver/organiser who was very gentle with our 3 yo old twin. His suggestion of having a jeep ride to wadi rum was very much appreciated. After the beautiful but very touristic visit to Petra, the drive through the desert and visiting places we didn’t realise that they existed, realy topped it off

5.00We recently did a day long shore excursion from Aqaba to Petra and then Wadi Rum. Our driver, Mr. Mohammed Hammad, was exceptional! Our ship arrived two hours late but he was still there waiting our arrival. He took some shortcuts on the way to Petra to save time and get us ahead of all the big bus tours. Once at Petra he introduced us to our local guide and we then spent about 4 hours exploring the impressive Petra. Mohammed had given us a phone so we could contact him when we were ready to be picked up which worked out very well. He also picked up lunch that we ate in the car to he make up some of the time we had lost due to our ship being late. We got to Wadi Rum in time for some touring and sunset. It was a magical day and Jordan Horizons and Mr. Mohammed made it all possible. Who highly recommend both of them!

4.00Our cruise was cancelled due to coronovirus. So we had to cancel our tour to Petra. Just wanted to mention how professional the communication with this company has been since our initial inquiry about the tour. Look forward to visiting Jordan and Petra when we can reschedule the cruise and re book our tour with JHT.
