5.00Half day very pleasant. The visit to a working monastery is impressive. Thanks to Dipesh for his explanations. Without him I would never have dared to enter for fear of disturbing religious activities. The walk in Kirtipur is peaceful.

5.00The tour was great. I was picked up right at the hotel and given a bottle of water. The tour lasted about five and a half hours. We visited many temples and monasteries, and my guide, Shankar Bhattarai, told me a lot about the history and religions of Nepal. Our driver, Sujan, navigated us confidently through the traffic. I can 100% recommend this tour.

5.00Depess was an excellent guide and I really enjoyed this tour. Pharping was about a 45 minute drive from the center of Kathmandu. It was a peaceful escape from the noise of Kathmandu.

5.00If you are a Buddhist practitioner this is not to be missed. The caves and monastery were exquisite and Shankar gave us a beautiful guided experience with plenty of time to soak it all in and meditate.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Pharping Monestary and Asana Cave. My tour guide Deepak was great, knowledgeable and very personable. For me, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had over the last month while traveling in Nepal. I went early in the morning, I didn’t see many tourists until mid day. There are many steps in both locations and the views are worth it!

Shankar, my tour Guide shared his vast knowledge and wisdom at calculated and appropriate times, whilst sharing the history of each stop along the way. 5.00Mr Keshar Jung Thapa was our excellent guide on this day tour. He is very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble to make our tour enjoyable. We had a private tour and he was able to adjust things to include an insightful visit to the Dashain sacrificial celebration in the nearby mountains. We loved the visit to the Pharpsing monastery and the Asura Cave . He also gave us an in depth explanation of Nepalese culture and the Hindu/Buddhist philosophies. Totally recommend.
