Here’s the very best of Victoria’s wildlife experiences. The Penguin Parade is an absolute ‘must’ on every visitor’s itinerary, but this tour gives you so much more.
First stop is Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you can get up close to wallabies on the wallaby walk (you may see little joeys peeking out of their mothers’ pouches). Enjoy a ranger providing unique insights and information during the daily koala presentation.
Then we travel on to the spectacular Cape Woolamai Surf Beach. Located on the southern coast of Phillip Island, this beach is exposed to the ocean swells and the surf here is truly impressive. It's also not uncommon to see dolphins or seals swimming in the waters just off the beach.
We also visit the Nobbies and Australia’s largest Fur Seal colony at Seal Rocks. Finally, the ultimate attraction: hundreds of Little Penguins emerging from the ocean and waddling across the beach to their sand dune burrows.

Jaime’s was great. Only hard part was we didn’t know what time we would be at the animal sanctuary so we couldn’t prebook and animal encounters. By the time we got there everything was already booked up.

It was such an amazing day! Our guide Chris was so friendly & energetic that it was impossible not to love the experience. Well worth the trip to see all the native Australian critters. Only complaint: tour was too short!!!!

It was pouring with rain but the tour still went on. My sister was visiting from the UK and we made the best of it. Mike was a great tour guide and gave us loads of information. We were able to still see everything and have a fantastic day. Very informative and fun tour. Would highly recommend.

It is definitely a long day, but we enjoyed it! The day starts with a visit to the colorful Brighton Bathing Boxes, which were cute. It felt a little rushed there, could have used another 15 minutes or so, but understand the schedule. The zoo was next. We saw several small zoos on our Australia trip, and this was probably the best. However, if you want one of the animal "experiences" there, you must book them WELL in advance and contact the company to confirm when you will be there. By the time we boarded the bus in the morning, all of the animal activities were sold out. The stop at Anzacs Beach was lovely. As for the main event, The Penguin Parade, it is a large and mostly well organized operation up there. The seats in the stone "bleachers" were fine, but lots of spectators do NOT listen to or heed the instructions. Still, very cool, and do spend time walking back up through the boardwalk to see the birds wandering around looking for their nests. The drive back to Melbourne at the end of the day is long, but our driver/guide (sorry, his name escapes me) was WONDERFUL all day long.

First our guide and driver Lisa was so energetic and professional and just fabulous. The tour is very long from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM. We made four stops including dinner at the small town of Cowes. The highlight is to watch a parade of small penguins exit to sea and walk a few hundred feet to the grassy areas to make and take care of their nests. We saw approx 1400 penguins on the night we were there My strong very strong suggestion is that you bring a good pair of binoculars. Cameras are strictly prohibited. These precious penguins are extremely well guarded. The entire area of Phillies Island is a well maintained and strictly protected area. Along the way to the penguins we say dozens of other animals all living in harmony. A great long tour without hazards or long walks I highly recommend it.

Our day could not have been better! The driver was well organized, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. And a good driver. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, a bandicoot, a kookaburra, and other exotic species in addition to hundreds of blue penguins. I highly recommend the tour.

Zoe was an EXCELLENT tour guide!! She gave information as we went by important sites. She paused frequently for us to take photos and was so helpful with questions. She had an absolutely infectious personality and was so fun and bubbly for the entire day. The moonlit sanctuary was so peaceful and clean; the animals were so friendly and active when we were there and we thought it wouldn’t get better—but the penguins were unbelievable. Please don’t miss this chance to see these penguins in their natural habitat. It was so beautiful. This tour is a long day but it had no worthless or boring stops. Every minute on this tour is well planned. Next time I’m in Melbourne, I’m booking with them again! Zoe—thank you so much for a wonderful day!!
