We had such an unforgettable time on the Winter Whale Cruise with Wildlife Coast Cruises! From the moment we stepped on board, the energy was warm and welcoming. The all-girl crew, including the captain, was such a refreshing and empowering touch, it really stood out and added to the uniqueness of the experience. The crew was absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It was great to see them joking around and having fun with each other and with us passengers. The vibe was relaxed, uplifting, and made us feel like part of the adventure. One of the absolute highlights was seeing a small calf swimming alongside its mother, such a beautiful and moving moment. We felt incredibly lucky to witness it. Special shoutout to Perla, the marine educator, who was so kind and engaging. It’s not every day you get to learn from someone so passionate and informed, let alone from PhD candidates! Having guides with such deep expertise onboard is a huge plus and really added to the richness of the experience. If you're thinking about doing this cruise, do it. Between the amazing wildlife, the outstanding crew, and the genuinely fun atmosphere, it’s an experience you won’t forget!

We went on this tour (first of the whale watching season) for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was great, didn't see whales (always luck) but lots of other animals.

It was an amazing experience the staff on the boat were so genuine and nice. We did see one whale which was awesome but the seals were amazing. So was the dolphins swimming along the side of the boat.

Our Phillip Island Winter Whale watching tour was a great success. We saw two separate groups of humpback whales, numerous dolphins swimming and jumping right beside the boat, and dozens of seal pups playing in the water at Seal Rocks. The water was quite rough at times but we are OK sailors and did not become unwell. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable, and they served up some delicious treats for us. The design of the boat makes it quite easy for everyone to get a good view, from in or outside

We weren’t sure if we will see any whales but we ended up experiencing what the crew described as the best they have seen for the season! The crew were continuously searching to ensure that we get the experience and the results was amazing. The crew itself were friendly and everything is hassle free.

The cruise was fantastic. The crew were very friendly with a sense of humour and take good care of the visitors which made the whole experience much more enjoyable! We were lucky enough to see whales and fur seals. The crew even held a vote to see what the visitors preferred to do (continue or return to a spot where we were sure of seeing whales that had been seen before). The crew knows how to react when people are seasick. I recommend this extraordinary experience! (Lunch on board could be a bonus point !)

Whales usually pass through the Phillip Island region from May to November. You can sometimes see these giants of the deep from the shore, but the whale watching cruise will give you a better view. The waters of Bass Strait are one of the world's best locations for whale watching.

The crew were amazing and friendly, the commentary was informative, lunch was great and after noon tea ✅ unfortunately the whales weren’t cooperating, but the seals made up for that
