Phnom Penh

The Royal Palace is one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks. The construction began in 1886 after King Norodom relocated the royal capital to Phnom Penh and was completed before World War I. Up until today, the palace is the primary residence of The King of Cambodia.

We.just finished our tour and can't say enough good things about the tour and our guide, Mr. Tokk. He was so kind and friendly and took the best care of.our family. He taught us so much and always kept things interesting. There is so much to see, learn, and experience in Phnom Penh and this tour was the perfect way to do it.

Pre tour communication was excellent. Sam ANG our Tour Guide was terrific. Mr. Da our driver had a command of Phnom Penh streets like no other! Itinerary flexibility was terrific! Are you a hearty hiker then they’ve got one way to see the city and if you are mobility challenged yet another.

Sam Ang was an incredible tour guide for our one day private guide in Phnom Penh. He knew lots of interesting things to share and was happy to tailor the tour to our interests. He was also thoughtful about the heat, making sure we picked the hottest activities in the morning since the weather was warmer than unusual. This was a great way to get a feel for the city in a day.

Sam Ang is a perfect guide who will take care of you throughout all your tour. He told us all the interesting things about Cambodia, answered our questions. He helped us with exchange money and find a good restaurant for lunch. His tour is held with care and enthusiasm, you won’t get bored. 6 hours passed so fast.

Great tour! Our tour guide Sam Ang was nice and informative! We saw all important paces, had great lunch and coffee break. Everything was so nice! I would recomend it to everyone going to Phnom Penh.

This is not worth a solo experience. I would say that majority of things that we did today for able to be on a guided tour with headphones that can translate into whatever language that you want. Potentially maybe you might have questions about some details of the killing field but the audio tour should go into it pretty well. Additionally and if you have questions about a pagoda maybe look it up on Google? Before you go? But really having a private guide is not worth this excursion. This is probably the biggest rip off that I've ever had through Viator

We spent a full day in the company of our guide, Sam, and our driver. Chauffeured in AC comfort from our hotel, we explored every aspect Phnom Penh had to offer - the Killing Fields, Genocide Museum, Independence Square, Royal Palace, Wat Ounalom, Wat Phnom, Silver Pagoda and Central Market. All entrance fees were included and we were well cared for throughout our day, with water plentiful. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and gave us both personal and historical insights into every aspect of our visit. We had limited time in Phnom Penh, so this style of visit was perfect for us. If you too are short on time and want an informative but comfortable way to cover a lot of ground in Phnom Penh then this tour is for you!
