Floating 2,000-5,000 feet over the desert in a hot air balloon, the 360 degree unobstructed views and peacefulness of flight is breathtaking. Following your 45-60 minute hot air balloon flight, guests are treated to chilled champagne and catered fare in the heart of the desert, the perfect start to the day.

All hot air balloon tours check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

4.00An incredible and unique experience, but they lack organization in the process. We wasted time looking for the departure point, and the breakfast they offer is more of an appetizer since it's cold due to the waiting time. There's no coffee or tea, even though the flight is so early and the morning is very cold. I compare this to other experiences I've had in California and Mexico where these aspects are much better prepared

5.00I had an amazing experience in hot air balloon. The team consisting of Joy, Mike, Marie and Captain John were wonderful. They picked us up from Deer valley road and we travelled to a couple of spots to check for wind condition before taking off at one spot. We were in the air for about 45 minutes or so but time flew really quick. We got lovely views of the mountains around in the Phoenix area and descended slowly to a flat surface. We ended the experience with a breakfast and champagne toast. Whole journey was safe and well organized!

5.00People and customer service make the difference. Johnathan, our captain and Jim our crew leads we awesome. The whole experience was amazingly well scheduled and executed. Granted the day was perfect for flying, we went up a mile high va other ballooned experiences staying low and just riding the wind. Johnathan gave us an amazing flight. An hour in the air, but at multiple altitudes riding the changing winds. Breakfast and mimosa on landing was a nice touch. All worth the 4:30 am wake up. Finding the right company made the experience.

5.00I can’t express how magical my birthday morning was, thanks to Hot Air Expeditions! From the moment I arrived, the team welcomed me with open arms, making me feel like part of their family. As we floated into the sky, the sunrise painted the horizon in breathtaking hues while the majestic mountains and playful donkeys below added to the charm of the experience. It felt like I was soaring through a dream! Our pilot was not just skilled but also incredibly funny and engaging, answering our questions with a smile that was contagious. I found myself laughing and grinning the entire time, which made the ride even more delightful. After our descent, the celebration continued with a lovely breakfast and champagne. The sweet surprise of a birthday cake shared among all of us was the cherry on top. It felt so special, and I truly appreciated how the team went above and beyond to make my day unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Hot Air Expeditions to everyone! 5.00Alisa piloted an amazing ride across the northwest area of the West Valley. We could see Lake Pleasant, the ring of mountain ranges and the surrounding desert with saguaros that looked like tiny succulents. Alisa described how the ballon worked and answered questions from all the patrons. After the ride, we had a mimosa brunch that exceeded expectations: warm breakfast burritos, apple turnovers and of course champagne and OJ. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. This outing was top notch and I highly recommend anyone in the Valley as well as visitors to book this trip! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars - they deserve it!

5.00I have always wanted to go in a hot air balloon, but the price has always deterred me. I finally decided to just go for it, and I'm so glad I did, it was worth every penny! It was an incredible experience. The captain, Jonathan, was funny, calm and shared cool stories. I can't properly describe how peaceful it was floating through the sky and watching the sun come up, but it's a memory I'll cherish forever. And even though I went by myself, the breakfast afterwards felt like we were all old friends. I highly recommend this adventure!

5.00It was more then we expected! Everyone was super nice our driver,pilot Don and the ground crew. Beautiful view from above, plenty of time in the air. Very lovely champagne breakfast after . All done with real plates, napkins and silverware. Will be doing another balloon ride!
Don’t hesitate just do it!

5.00Nervous at the thought of but very beautiful and calming ride. We did the morning experience; got to see the sunrise. Casey is very experienced; he also played very calming music while we floated. Breakfast, champagne and cake were delicious. What a wonderful way to end the ride. His crew were awesome also.
