Thank you so much to Matt, our wonderful photographer in Kyoto. Our family was long overdue for professional photos, and it was such a treat to capture truly unique images during our recent trip to Japan. Matt was fantastic to work with - easygoing, patient with our (sometimes surly) teenagers, and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. Beyond taking beautiful photos, he also shared thoughtful and interesting information about the neighborhoods and sites we walked through between locations, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We’re so glad we decided to book a photographer through Pictrip and would absolutely recommend both Matt and Pictrip. Highly recommend!

Matt, our photographer was a pleasure to work with. He knew the locale, had an amazing eye for composition and was very kind to our family. He even shared some information about the landmarks and neighborhoods we were passing through as we moved from one location to the next. We did a family photo session during our Japan vacation. Yoshi was very accommodating and helpful. We received the link for our photos the next day, and they exceeded our expectations.

Matt was a relaxed and personable guide and cultural interpreter …just what we were seeking. He took beautiful photographs, and was patient with our teenager who does not like to smile. She relaxed as much as she can eventually because he was relaxed, and he caught some lovely moments. Thank you, Matt!
