Istanbul is a photographers' paradise... I can help you capture the best moments of Istanbul in the way you choose. I am not only a professional licensed tourist guide, but also a serious amateur photographer with more than 15 years of experience.

Being in the right place at the right time is important. While good luck always helps, photography also requires careful planning as well as local insight.

As each photographer has their own preferred subject, this private guiding service can be fully tailored to your preferences.

For instance, if you want to focus on Istanbul's bazaars, commercial structures, I can arrange our route accordingly. If you want to focus on Byzantine heritage, that's easy too. Or you may want to visit Istanbul as a part of your YouTube or Instagram project and you want a guide in order to get advice and communicate with locals. I am ready to help. Or do you want a photoshoot? I can help you with my mobile phone.

Our photography route will include not only the best-known sites such as Blue Mosque, but also rarely-visited streets and historical heritage. This will differentiate your photography and provide a wider perspective outside of popular spots.

Beyoglu

While Beyoglu is defined as the modern centre of Istanbul, it also contains a suprising amount and variety of historical sights. Our photography route will combine modern and historical together. It is possible to focus on architectural details, local people or artizans, or various other themes in this section of the city. Interesting churches, beautiful art galleries, crowded streets, random surprises can be our subject of photography.

I took this tour because it was customizable to what I wanted to see: the cats of Istanbul. We went into a couple cat museums. walked the streets, took a couple ferries, visited mosques and cemeteries, and other places their cats often wander. Highly recommend.

Ünsal was amazing and spectacular with the tour. He customize everything to mine, and my groups needs every second of the way. Constant check ups with how we were doing, had vast knowledge of the city, most importantly he is a photographer himself so he took some of the best group pictures, I’ve gotten in my 100 countries of travel around the world. Highly recommend super patient and welcoming guy would highly recommend.!!

The tour with Unsal gave me a wonderful insight into the beautiful city of Istanbul. He knows a lot about the history of the city and Turkey and has a good way of imparting his knowledge.
