We will drive across the most impressive spots for winter views and make some breaks that you can take better pictures. During the ride you can make a video as well. During this safari you will feel the atmosphere of Urho Kekkonen national park. Impressive views over the fell area! Warm beverages and snacks are offered during this tour. Two starts a day, 10 AM and 2 PM. The first snowmobile was created during the 20th century. With the shape of a sledge, it was intended for work to drive over snow and icy roads where other vehicles were not able to go. Stronger and faster it quickly replaced the sled dogs as a modern mode of transport. Nowadays, snowmobiles are mostly used for recreation.

We arrived at the scheduled time in front of the Siula building. After 15min of waiting, noone else showed up. We called the organizers and at first they appeared confused regarding what tours they offer. 5min waiting on the phone later, they told us that the trip had been cancelled. We did not receive any notifications regarding the cancellation beforehand. The tour was showing as "confirmed" in Tripadvisor at the time. Needless to say, this wasted a lot of time driving around. If we had gotten a notification, we would have been able to plan something else on the day. This way, pretty much everything else had either been sold out or we were too late. We received a full refund.

He went through the woods and up the hill. It was beautiful with a unique view of the sunrise and moon at the same time. However, you have to stay outside for a long time, and the wind is always blowing, so you need to be prepared for the cold. Even there, they lend you warm clothes before you leave, but you should wear as much as you can.

Funny and adventurous tour in sledge pulled by a snowmobile. Had a nice tripe ad a good lunch in a cloudy and snowy day. The guide was skilled and friendly!

We can highly recommend the Saariselka branch of Lapland Welcome. Giacomo looked after us from beginning to end. Despite only booking the night before we were picked up efficiently from Ivalo. Warm clothing was provided at Saariselka. Giacomo was able to make recommendations and alterations to our trip to suit the needs of the group. He is very pleasant and easy to get along with. Overall a great day out snowmobiling. Loved our little fire and hot chocolate at our destination.
