  Great tour. Big Budda is still closed. We took photos from the side. Tried to open for a few days in January but it wasn’t safe to continue. Will try to open again this year. Saw many temples, bees and honey making, cashew nut factory, old Phuket town and beaches. Nicely organised with good access to clean toilets.   We were picked up from and later returned to our hotel. The guide was very helpful and the tour was interesting.

  Excellent 4-5 hour tour with minibus and tour guide. Only 4 of us on the trip today. Early start so nowhere was crowded. 15 to 20 mins stop for sights, 45 mins at the temple and an hour in Old Phuket which was ideal for photo stops and a bit of shopping. We paid extra on the day for hotel pick up from Cape Panwa to tour start in Pattong as out of pick up area but was a private taxi and very straight forward and pricing was made clear on booking.

  This was a fun day spent however there was construction going on at big Buddha so you only get a side view and we sat in a lot of traffic going from place to place. But the views are pretty!

  The whole reason I booked this tour was to see the big Buddha not to just get a glimpse of it from the view point below. I was never told by the tour company that the big Buddha was closed due to a landslide. I should have been given this information prior to payment

  We loved the half day morning tour. Picked up from our hotel at the time specified. Previous messages had given us an exact time to wait in hotel lobby. Minibus comfortable and air conditioned. Our first 2 stops were pretty view points with approx 15-20 minute stops. 3rd stop was the temples which was a longer stop. Time to look around a beautiful temple and have a drink. Our final stop was old Phuket town and we had 40 minutes to have a look around which was fine to do a bit of shopping. Pleased we went on the morning tour as was a bit cooler. Our tour guide Daisy was delightful. Enthusiastic and informative. The driver was very good.

  The tour itself was very good and our guide Daisy was fabulous. But the tour started over 30 minutes late due to so many pickups and then things only got later and later. In all it was nearly 2 hours longer than advertised. As for the tour itself the only disappointment was that the Big Buddha was closed for renovation so we did not get to even have a good view of it. This was sure known weeks in advance since the renovation project took months. But no one mentioned this at the time of booking so I feel misled.

  My mum and I had a lovely experience on this tour. Daisy, the guide, was very sweet and helpful. My mum has a bad back, so we were looking for a tour without a huge amount of walking/exertion and this fit the bill. We felt the tour had the perfect amount of time at each stop to get the full experience. There were stairs at the lookout point and at the temple, but they were no problem for someone in good health. The big Buddha is still closed from a landslide in 2024, but you can get fairly close and see it from the side. There were monkeys there too. The cashew farm was a bit of a sales opportunity and was packed with various tour groups, but the guides weren’t pushy about selling (although I suspect they’re on commission). If nothing else, a bathroom break. Old town was really nice and we will definitely go back there. Lots of slightly more upmarket shops, cafes and ice cream places. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioned. The only area for improvement was that the outside of the bus was quite dirty so it was hard to see out of the windows. I would definitely recommend this trip to those who would like a bit of culture but who don’t want to spend ages walking around or traveling in the heat. We saw people who had taken the local bus and were walking the 6km (2 hrs) up the mountain to the big Buddha and we were very glad to be on the bus!

  Among other things, we have been sold the visit to the Big Buddha and announced that we were not going to see him only after we got on the bus. In general, it's not worth it, better to stay on the beach. Besides, this is not a guided tour, they do not explain anything. It's like taxiing without picking the stops. Not to give not even the bottle of water they promised.
