Feel the excitement of knowing you are about to take a journey into uncharted areas where it is you and Africa’s most feared creatures by exploring their territory, by their rules. You will be collected from the Hotel by a qualified guide and proceed to the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve that spans an area of 550 square kilometers, the home of the BIG FIVE. Here we will drive around in an open Game Viewer and feel the tension mounting that at any moment just around a corner you could spot a herd of elephant or the king himself the lion or if lucky spot the ever elusive leopard as he lies on a rock or in a tree. The Game drive will last for 6 hours within the reserve and a light lunch at the Pilanesberg Centre will be provided.
Duration of the tour is around 12 hours.

You will be collected from the Hotel at 06h00 and proceed to the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve that spans an area of 550 square kilometres, the home of the BIG FIVE. Here we will drive around in the safety of our vehicle and feel the tension mounting that at any moment just around a corner you could spot herd of elephant or the king himself the lion or if lucky spot the ever elusive leopard as he lies on a rock or in a tree watching you and enticing you to make a mistake. Without a doubt you will feel the sensation of total tranquillity of the African bush and know that that feeling will linger with you for eternity. During your trip we will stop off within the reserve at the Zebra Crossing Restaurant for lunch on the deck overlooking the water hole. ch surrounded by Mother Nature .After an eventful day we then head out for Chameleon African Curio market. Here you will have the pleasure of walking around an area with 186 different stalls all enticing you to purchase a gift for a loved one back home.

5.00Our Safari – an experience for life Our safari was simply indescribable! From start to finish it was a journey full of wonder, emotion and unforgettable moments. Driving together through the endless expanses, sitting in the golden light of the savannah and watching the majestic animals in the wild – that was pure magic. What was particularly impressive was how close we were allowed to experience lions, elephants, giraffes and zebras – all in a respectful, safe setting. Our guides were not only incredibly experienced, but also wholeheartedly involved. You could feel how much they love this country and love to share their knowledge. Every sunrise was a little miracle, every day a new adventure. And sitting under the clear starry sky in the evening, away from noise and everyday life – that grounded and connected us. This journey has left its mark on us – in the best sense. Anyone who has ever heard the silence of Africa and felt the power of nature will understand what we are talking about. Thank you for this shared experience. We will carry them forever in our hearts.

5.00We were greeted early in the morning at the hotel very warmly, punctually and with hot coffee by our tour guide Micheal. In the national park we changed into an open vehicle with driver. Michael continued to accompany us and was able to tell us about every animal and blade of grass with passion and soul. He also took great photos with his SLR camera, which he sent to us all at the end of the safari. We were lucky and could see numerous animals: Elephants that even crossed our street, giraffes, a leopard!!!, impalas, zebras, guinea fowl, warthogs, a lion. It was a fantastic, unforgettable day! On the way back we stopped at a resort where elephants could be approached in their wild. What a peaceful and sublime atmosphere. Thank you very much Michael for this wonderful day!

5.00Booked for the second time and will not stay with Tim for the last time. He is very experienced and shares his knowledge with us. We felt very comfortable, the organization was perfect, you are picked up directly with coffee and homemade short bread. He is nevertheless flexible and responds to his own wishes. We are already looking forward to the next trip!

5.00Tim was great! The safari was one of the highlights our trip. I loved getting the pictures at the end of the day so I could be in the moment and enjoy the animals. They went to great lengths to ensure we saw everything we could and Tim was knowledgeable and funny. Highly recommended!!

5.00We were picked up on time at the hotel and the drive to Pilanesberg was very relaxed.We were provided with coffee as well as detailed explanations of nature and the animals.The drive in the park was sensational...led by Tom and a very fun ranger.Also there we were provided with great information all around and the times with the animals were fantastic.Distances were always observed and nature was 100% respected!!!

5.00What a wonderful day! We got to see so many animals and were able to learn about them a lot! Tim and the driver Elvis were an amazing host and provided a personalized feel to the journey! Tim even provided coffee and homemade biscuits in the morning which was great! Definitely recommend!
