Pilsen city is a beer-brewing capital of the world - the first pilsner lager was born there. On the trip you will enjoy a guided tour through Pilsner Urquell brewery finished by a tasting session of unfiltered beer, tapped from oak barrels. Visit also historic core of the city on a private guided tour and finally experience a local family eco-farm and taste local homemade goat cheese, milk, etc. All that on a private day trip with professional guide customizing the day to your wishes. You will explore the 13th century historic centre of the city with renaissance city hall (16th century) and overlook it from the highest church tower in Czech Republic (102 m / 334 ft).
Pilsner Urquell Brewery
Your private guide-driver will pick you up at your Prague place. After approx. 1h 15min of a comfortable & safe drive you reach Pilsen. It has been the beer-brewing capital of the world since the 19th century. (Due to program of brewery tours pick up times in the morning at 8:30am and 9am apply only in July-September.) You visit Pilsner Urquell brewery on this tour (joining a group, admission INCLUDED) where you taste this locally called “liquid bread” directly from oak barrels brewed according to the traditional recipe. After that enjoy a typical Czech lunch in the local beerhouse (INCLUDED). After the brewery visit you are heading to family eco-farm with goats to explore it and taste their locally home-made cheese, milk & other products (INCLUDED). All the time you will be accompanied by a nice professional local guide that is flexible to adjust the program to your needs. You will feel like you are on a trip with an old local friend who is ready to give you the best insider tips and recommendations.

5.00We had a private tour of Pilsen and surrounding area. Our guide Michal was the highlight. His vast knowledge of Czech history, culture and current affairs made the experience incredibly educational. I would highly recommend him as a guide for where ever you go within the Czech Republic.

5.00An unbelievable day and tour with Michal. Could not recommend highly enough, he provided invaluable information to our experience as well as interesting conversation with an absolutely unique experience cheese tasting with a lovely Czech family (the highlight of the Prague trip for partner and myself). Michal went beyond necessary and sent us local restaurants that were fairly priced and delicious, as well as locations to go when not with him. 10/10.
