Are you visiting Piraeus the largest port of Greece? Is your cruise making a stop and you want to spend a couple of hours discovering the hidden gems? Our team Julia, Douk and Dimitris, three enthusiastic foodies, will show you around the colourful markets, the tasty food, fresh vegetables,the best souvlaki in town and of course, local wine and spirits

During the walk, you'll visit in the oldest vegetable, fish and meat market of Piraeus and you'll also try our best wines and distillates of the region. Get the chance to know how to cook all the dishes you will try, and get local insight into recipes, tips for Greece, the islands and the culinary traditions.

Join us in a “Mediterranean Diet” tour and discover the secrets of our Greek food.

In case your preferred dates are not available, you can always ask us to make some room and we will be happy to host you.

Authentic Greek Cuisine: Emphasize authentic Greek dishes that are not commonly found in touristy areas. It was such a delight joining Julia and co today around Piraeus! I originally booked this as it was local to the area I'm staying in and I needed something active/engaging to do on my arrival to Greece after a long flight. I'm so so glad that I did! Julia was personable, knowledgeable and showed many great spots to have various Greek delicacies that I would never have found myself. It was great to have insight into the history of the foods, the people who made them and enjoy such tasty bites along the way. I would highly recommend this as Julia really goes above to make you feel welcome and provide a great tour! I'm so glad to have started my holiday with this tour, thanks for having me!

This was, hands downs, the best tour of the trip, I higjly recommend this experience. I would go back just to do it again. I took toms of their business cards because I want to send everyone I meet whose going to this area on this tour, we lived it! You won't believe the food and the locations! I was the only person on this tour so I received amazing service. Douk was very knowledgeable about food in the Piraeus as well as the history of this area. The food we tasted was delicious. I especially liked the stop where I tasted and learnt about figs, olives, yoghurt, olive oil and lots of herbs. The morning just flew by. Dock was also wonderful helping me get a taxi back to my hotel. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time with Julia and Dimitri exploring the local food haunts of Piraeus. Delicious food and conversation. No tourists. Food, history and city tour. Best way to spend the second day off the ship and skip the chaos of Athens. 10 minutes from the ship and more food than we could eat in a day. Definitely a highlight of our cruise.

I couldn’t have dreamt up a better food tour! My husband and I did this on our first full day in Greece, the day before boarding our cruise. Julia and George are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guides. We tried a number of delicious Greek specialties like spanakopita, yoghurt, souvlaki, coffee, and olive oil… just to name a few. We felt like we got to try these Greek dishes in spots where the locals like to dine and shop. The places we stopped were not overly-touristy, and we learned so much about the food and how it is grown or prepared. Julia and George were personable and friendly. We had excellent conversation during the entire tour. Also, we learned more about Greek culture, history, and geography from chatting with Julia during each stop. I would call this tour an absolute MUST DO! It is a great way to spend a day before a cruise, after a cruise, or for port destination. I would love to take another tour with Julia and George again. Make sure you arrive hungry!

Arrive hungry – you won’t regret it! My husband and I love doing food tours when we travel, and this was truly one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Greek cuisine and culture. We’re especially glad we did this tour on our first day in Greece—it gave us a perfect foundation for what to look for and order throughout the rest of our trip. Every stop was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting—just make sure to come with an appetite!
