Government House
Government House, located on a 10 acre estate, stands on Mount Fitzwilliam and is the official residence of the Governor General of The Bahamas. It dates back to 1801 and this imposing pink and white building on Duke Street is an excellent example of the mingling of Bahamian-British and American Colonial architecture.
The Caves of New Providence
Nassau’s caves were created by the sea, millions of years ago. The area that is now the caves was originally at sea level, and ocean waves gradually wore away the softer parts of the sedimentary rock, leaving what are now large hollows. The Lucayans, the original inhabitants of The Bahamas, used the caves for various purposes, including food storage and to protect themselves during hurricanes. These caves are now home to fruit bats. If you are lucky, you may even get to see one!

5.00Captain Yellowtail was our tour guide and he did an amazing job telling us the history and keeping us entertained. He also told us a pirate story during the drive, keeping us wanting to know what happens next. We had a rental car and could have easily toured all the spots but just the experience of the Pirate Jeep Tour and Captain Yellowtail was worth every penny.

5.00First time in Nassau. We were a little anxious about doing an excursion but booked the Pirate Jeep Tour. It was so much fun! "Mad Mary" our drive was excellent. She took us all around the island was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a blast. We loved that it was a private tour. Just me and my husband on our anniversary trip. Would recommend it to others for sure.

5.00Captain Calico Jack was a blast. He was super informative and fun. We got to see the PM on the way to one of our stops and it was super cool. He even dropped us off at Starbucks at the end of the day per request. Very very kind! Had a blast!

5.00This was such a fun adventure! Captain Mad Mary did a fantastic job! We learned some great pirate info and saw lots of amazing parts of Nassau! The food and drinks along the way were excellent as well! Definitely recommend!!
