  Limited to a return ticket bus ride to Pisa as we self sight seeing. The guide was excellent. A lot of waiting pre-boarding and fast walking.

  Due to a family death I had to cancel this tour (among other cancellations) and return to the United States. I contacted Ciao Florence and notified them of my situation and requested cancellation on Sept 8th...which they agreed to do. I returned to the US on Sept 9th. On Sept 10th I received a notice from Viator that $204.32 had been charged to my credit card. I was surprised since I had canceled the tour on Sept 8th. I contacted Ciao Florence and was told that while they had agreed to accept my cancellation, I had to notify Viator since that was who I had arranged the tour. I tried to contact Viator but I kept getting very cryptic responses (i.e, computer gibberish). As I was overwhelmed with the challenges of cancelling all my planned activities in Florence, as well as my pre-paid hotel reservation, and I was dealing with the emotions of our family loss, I decided I didn't have time to deal with this issue until after the funeral services. Thus, this review. I don't understand how the tour operator (Ciao Florence) could accept my cancellation...they were the people I had most contact with...and then pass off the cancellation notification to Viator. I don't understand how the payment was processed through my credit card several days before the scheduled tour. And, I don't understand how you keep sending my requests for a review of the tour, given I never went on the tour. The requirement for multiple notifications to cancel the tour does not make any sense. Ciao Florence was the provider and was very helpful when I contacted them to cancel. The whole process was a very stressful situation during a highly emotion time for me. So, I am simply requesting you to honor the cancellation I processed through Ciao Florence and return my deposit of $204.32.

  Our guide talked too much and too slow about unnecessary things. Constantly said ahh or umm was really annoying. Also not interested in having to hear things in English then again in Spanish for the benefit of a couple of people. There should be a headpiece that translates for the select few. There is a 15 minute walk from where the bus drops you off to the actual tower area. This is also unacceptable. Found myself quite annoyed by the whole thing.

  DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THIS TOUR COMPANY!!! I have never been so disappointed in a tour or tour group in my life! We were told to arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes in advance of the tour. (No restrooms at the meeting point.) Then we got on a bus and drove 1 1/2 hours and walked another 15 minutes to the point where the tour began. When I asked about restrooms before the tour, we were told that there were no restrooms in advance that I would have to go to a coffee shop outside the gate to use the facilities, which I had to pay for since there are no free toilets in Europe. So several of us walked to the cafe to use the facilities and came back where the tour began without us and we had to catch up. After the tour of the church, we made our way to the tower for our Skip the Line (which we paid extra for) ticket to walk to the top of the tower. There were four of us and I paid over $400 for the ability to walk to the top. But our tour guide apparently can’t count nor check the names off the list of those that paid because we were the last four in line and they cut us off after two because someone had gone in that didn’t pay. So my friend and I were told to go in and wait on our husbands so we did but we waited just inside the door so we could walk up with our husbands.. Our guide stayed on the phone for 10 minutes with someone to determine the problem and then explained that he would go purchase two more tickets and for us to wait five minutes. After what was probably 15 or 20 minutes he came back and said he could not buy more tickets because the tickets are associated with the time and we would not have time to wait to go in or we would miss the bus going back. So I gave up my spot and allowed my friends husband to join her and we were not able to go at all. There was no explanation given… just that we were not going to be able to do exactly what I had paid for. Therefore, I have demanded a refund in full for all four tickets and will be filing a complaint with Viator too! So if you want to pay for a tour that you actually get to go on or have access to go to a restroom at least once during a 6 hour tour, then this is not the tour company for you! Had a group of us not asked about restrooms, we would have been without access to a restroom for 3 1/2 hours which is completely unacceptable and should have been taken into consideration. And on top of that, we did not even get to go on the tour! So to say I am furious and disappointed would be an understatement. DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THIS TOUR OPERATOR!

  Sebastian & Sara were both great guides at piza & the cathedral! Only suggestion would be Sebastian pace walking to & from bus was very fast, older people lagged back & got separated easily in walk back & forth! Other then this excellent experience!
