Our guests will enjoy a visit to the wonderful Plemmirio caves with our support boat. They will visit the northern part of the Maddalena peninsula from the beautiful bay of Ortigia to the Pillirina, to the coast of the Giant up to the rock of the Elephant. Our crew will provide you with all you need for snorkeling and will accompany you in the water to discover the marine fauna of the Park. During the return we will use the wind to unfurl the sails and return with the wonderful sound of the sea. The itinerary may change at the discretion of the captain because the sea is always right.

5.00My friends and I were looking for a boat experience that was different from the usual, something authentic. The sailing trip with the Perseid seemed immediately perfect. We had booked for another day, but due to unfavorable weather conditions, we were contacted almost immediately to reschedule the excursion, showing great attention and professionalism in wanting to ensure ideal conditions for sailing and snorkeling. On September 25th we finally boarded and were greeted with great kindness by Sebastiano, his wife and Diego, who made us feel immediately at ease. As soon as we left the port of Ortigia, we were lucky enough to spot the dolphins, probably a matriarch with a calf, who swam next to the boat to say goodbye: a really exciting moment. During the navigation Sebastiano told us curiosities and legends of the place, such as that of the Pirillina Cave, alternating explanations in Italian and English to include all passengers. Then, once we arrived at the Plemmirio reserve, we dived into the crystal clear waters for snorkeling, accompanied by Diego, who guided us through the seabed and explained the local marine fauna. The equipment was all provided on board and the experience was relaxing, safe and wonderful. A perfect morning, between nature, sea and genuine people. Next time baptism of the sea 😉

5.00Sebastiano, Diego welcomed on board the beautiful yacht Only a small group of us which made it more personal Leared lots about the siracusa area and the bay is beautiful. Caves, lots of sea life. Highly recommend this to do on ur list in this Beautiful area with local Highly experienced people. Went swam, snorkeling into a high impressive cave. Great memories for me, my husband and daughter

5.00Wow what a great trip today Only 4 of us on boat so not cramped and no hanging about Lots of local information given out on sail to snorkelling site Very courteous hosts so helpful and polite All snorkel gear supplied and masks didn’t steam up ! Good safety briefing at start and regular check ins during swim Lots of fish identified and water so clear I’m getting on a bit (64) so not as fir getting in and out water back on boats but I had no problems what so ever Really recommend this trip Gorgeous sail back 💕💕 If I’m back at Siracusa I’d book this trip again Thank you thank you

5.00Sebastian and Diego were wonderful leaders for our snorkeling trip! My boyfriend and I went snorkeling for the first time along with one other couple and it was truly magical. We were able to snorkel in caves and sailed back as the sun set over Ortigia. 100% would recommend!
So special - not to be missed!

5.00What a superb experience. Sebastian and Diego welcomed us onto their beautiful sailing boat - the envy of many others in the harbour - and we sailed blissfully out of the harbour until the sun set after a fabulous break to snorkel. Crew were very professional and friendly. We felt in safe hands at all times so we were able to lay back and enjoy the cruise. Fantastic. Highly recommended.

5.00If I could rate this tour a 10 I would! Sebastian and his son, Diego, were incredible hosts. They greeted us warmly as we arrived and welcomed us onboard their sail boat immediately. Sebastiano entertained us with lively stories about Siracusa, history and culture. Diego, his right hand man, was everywhere at the same time - collecting our things, securing phones, helping navigate. What really impressed us, though, was how they emphasized safety- explaining communication in the water, fine points of snorkeling, loosely connecting our group with a tie so we all stayed together, continuously checking with each of us in the water to make sure we were alright. We swam in the Riserva Plemmeria, a nature reserve, with clear, warm water and a gentle current. We swam into some sea caves, difference kinds of fish and interesting rock formations beneath the water. The return, heading toward the afternoon light of sun-drenched Ortigia, was like a fantasy of la dolce vita Italiana!

5.00We booked this tour last minute, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We were lucky and were the only couple on board. Besides us, it was the Captain - Sebastian, along with Diego - the snorkeling guide. Both were great and made the trip very informational and fun. They took us around on a sailboat and brought us to Grotta Marittima pillirina.(if I remember correctly). Along the way the captain told the local stories of area and explained the ortigia area. At the Grotta, Diego guided us into the sea caves! There was even a point where you could dive under a rock structure within the cave where Diego would help pull you underneath. After the caves, we had some time to snorkel a bit around the area and Diego explained the fish that were in the area. The captain was especially great, and when I somehow ripped my swimming shorts on the boat, he took it upon himself to give me an extra pair, 10/10 hospitality and character. Thank you Sebastian and Diego for giving my wife and I a memorable sailing trip, and a great cave snorkeling experience!
