Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the most visited parks in Croatia and is voted the most beautiful national park in Europe. The park is made up of 16 lakes connected by streams and waterfalls. Take a walk along the paths and boardwalks, and surround yourself with breathtaking nature at every

angle.

Furthermore, on the way to the lakes, discover the village Rastoke and its watermills from 17th century. With this one day discovery of this two worth to visit beauties you will live each moment to the fullest!

If you can, bring sportswear and comfortable closed/hiking shoes... lots of walking!

Your guide will be available to assist you throughout the entire trip and guide you through the park.

Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.

Some of the park may be restricted and is weather dependent.

This tour will still operate in all weather conditions.

Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.

This fairy tale small watermill village will give you the first insight into historic Croatia, but also a sneak peak for what’s to come in Plitvice. We will spend enough time here for you to look around the village and take some photos before heading back to the van towards the national park.

Our guide was very punctual and knowledgeable. Was able to finish our walk at Plitvice Lakes at a leisurely pace. The upper lakes were surprisingly opened on the day of our visit, so we got to see everything. Awesome trip!

Be sure and dress appropriately for the weather, and be prepared to see some spectacular scenery. The walk/hike is designed well to maximize the dramatic views. The final short walk after the train ride is the perfect end to the day.

My husband and I did a day trip with Pathfinder to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Our guide Marko was very pleasant and accomodating sharing his love for and knowledge of the area with enthusiasm. We normally do a lot of self managed travel but have loved the convenience and insight of an organised tour. Although it was an off season visit the park was stunning all the same and our own private winter wonderland. Thanks Marko!

I had a wonderful time during this trip. The lakes are amazing. I was picked up promptly on time and there only 5 people on the trip. The atmosphere was good. The trip lasted 8 hours with about one hour spent on traffic due to peak time. The staff, Marko, was awesome. He gave us lots of information, guided us through the lakes and was always available to answer any questions. Due to the season (late Nov), we only got to see the lower lakes, and it was a bit cold in the area.

Marko was an excellent tour guide!! The drive was smooth and pretty. We had tons of time to wander around at Plitvice. I was thankful for the guaranteed departure because my other tour got canceled. Marko let me go ahead since it wasn't crowded, so I was able to fully immerse myself in nature without anyone right next to me. Overall highly recommend the experience!!
