Your guide will be available to assist you throughout the entire trip and guide you through the park.
Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.
Some of the park may be restricted and is weather dependent.
This tour will still operate in all weather conditions.
Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.

This fairy tale small watermill village will give you the first insight into historic Croatia, but also a sneak peak for what’s to come in Plitvice. We will spend enough time here for you to look around the village and take some photos before heading back to the van towards the national park.

5.00Visiting Zagreb and not experiencing this tour would be such a shame. Plitvice Lakes are spectacular on their own but experiencing them with friendly and knowledgeable tour guide made the experience more impressive and memorable. It was cold and snowy, as you'd expect during this time of the year, but that made the park pretty empty so you get to enjoy peaceful stroll and sounds of nature versus excessive noise pollution from other tourists. It felt like we were super rich people who booked the entire place just for us to enjoy it. Park was THAT empty during some parts of the experience. :D Dressing up properly and knowing what to expect from the tour (lots of walking) are a must to fully enjoy the experience. We received detailed information and instructions prior to the tour and I can't think of anything important that was not communicated. Tour guide Marko was very friendly, knowledgeable, genuine, kind, easy to talk to and went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our small group was taken care of. He shared his wealth of knowledge but also allowed space for silence. He made himself available at all times but still very respectful that different people may want different experience. Marko was super clear and direct about expectations from any humans entering this gorgeous park and shared some cautionary tales of how human behaviour in past had negative impact on the park itself and limited experience of future visitors. Its a testament to how fragile nature is and how destructive some human behaviour (intentional or unintentional) can be to it. I definitely want to come back during warmer time of the year to experience (as Marko calls it) "Jurassic Park" version of Plitvice with more greenery and I'll be recommending this tour, agency and Marko as a tour guide to everyone I know when they visit Croatia / Zagreb. Thank you!

5.00I did a solo day trip from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes with Pathfinder, and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was well organized, smooth, and stress-free. My guide, Sasha, was outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Croatia. He customized the tour to my pace, showed me the best viewpoints, shared great stories, and helped me capture beautiful photos. As a solo traveler, I felt completely comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Plitvice is stunning, but experiencing it with Sasha made it unforgettable. Highly recommend Pathfinder — and definitely ask for Sasha!

5.00Plitvice Lakes National Park is the most magical place on earth. I feel so grateful to see it. One can be healed spiritually walking on top of waterfalls. Sasha, our passionate guide, was a civil engineer. He decided to change his career to be a guide and he absolutely adores the national park. There was so much pride in his storytelling I am convinced that he loves what he does. 6 of us had an amazing time, thank you, Sasha!

5.00This was my first booking ever through tripadvisor, so i was a bit scared, but i had no reason to be. We had a terrific time during this trip, Rastoke is a quaint, cute little village, and the lakes are absolutely amazing, it really is a must-see. Our guide, Marko was phenomenal, he was informative, friendly and funny, we enjoyed the trip very much! Highly recommended!

5.00This tour was booked last minute after we were told we couldn’t miss seeing this beautiful national park. We are so glad we did because the views were beautiful. So many waterfalls , the fresh air it was all worth it . Sasa the tour guide was also good, filled with knowledge about the park. Highly recommend taking this tour

5.00It's not often that you find someone who is truly exceptional at their job. Sasa, our guide, is. His tales about the history of Croatia added spice to the flavor of the trip. His knowledge on how to get where/ when, great. The execution of the plan, spot on and the scenery, even in November (cold, grey, a little foggy) tremendous. It was what I expected. 👍

5.00I was hesitant to book this tour based on several factors: other reviews on all tours to the park describing how overcrowded it can be, the poor weather forecast, and the idea of spending as much time in the van as at the destination. I am SO glad I followed my gut and booked it anyway! I was a solo addition to a group with five other travellers. Our guide was Sasa. He was very easy-going and yet obviously passionate about the cultural and historical information he shared. This is a part-time gig for him but you can tell it's a fulfilled part of his identity and he is perfect for the role! In response to my initial concerns: Sasa steered us away or through crowded areas and even playfully competed with a larger group from the same company to keep us in front! Being the second-to-last day of October, the crowds were mild and very reasonable. The weather held off but even if it had been pouring it would have been worth it to be in that environment. The lack of leaves on the trees were made up by the sound of the water flowing throughout the park. Although I suffer from motion sickness, I rode in the back row of the van and had no problems. The time flew by with casual conversation and music in the background. And now for the the best (worst) part -- I left my headphones in the van. The headphones I had bought the day before. And the headphones I needed to fly over 12 hours back home with on the following morning at 6 am. Despite it being after hours, I reached out to the company and they not only promptly found them but offered to bring them to me the following day. When I shared the urgency of my situation, they met me in town and handed them to me. EXCEPTIONAL and entirely unexpected service! Thank you eternally!

5.00It is a lot of walking - not so much stopping and relax but keep on walking to make sure to catch the absolute all of what the park can offer, which is beautiful. Our tour guide Sasha had great deep knowledge and experience of Plitvice, Rastoke and Zagreb and gave us great tips. He was a great tour guide and was kind, thoughtful and interesting to chat with. Definitely recommend this trip - make sure to wear good footwear for walking long hours and carry water! Also we were very lucky with the weather! Thank you Sasha.
