The Lower Lakes

At the lower lakes we will use a walking path that leads to the biggest waterfall in the National Park Plitvice - the Big waterfall (78m high). Magnificent views around the lakes.

The most amazing experience to be guided round the beautiful lakes and waterfalls with such a friendly, knowledgeable guide as Denis was. Stunning views and so much to learn about the setting.

Mario was an amazing guide. Extremely knowledgeable. The lakes are stunning. Highly recommend hiking the whole park. Definitely recommend!

We spent 4 hours at the Lakes and we could have easily done 4 more! I caught myself saying WOW at all the beautiful sights at almost every turn. Our guide, Nikola was fantastic. We took our time at certain spots of elevation and worked to find the hidden gems of the park that had way less crowds that the main parts. Excellent day to get 17,000 steps.

Plitvice Lakes is a must experience, impressive nature that is simply beautiful. Our guide, Anrija Gasparovic, was very special, who told us many things, interesting and interesting about this national park. Andrija led us skilfully and just when it got fuller with visitors, quickly to the viewpoints. Many thanks to Andrija who made this day in Plitvice Lakes so great for us.

Fabulous tour. A group of four of us, all retired, took this tour and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and did not find it too physically demanding at all. Carlo, our guide, was great- very informative and conscious of the speed we wanted to travel at, so made it totally memorable and enjoyable. The views were really spectacular. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

We were escorted around Plitivice by Andi. An excellent guide well worth going around with him. He is very knowledgeable and a really pleasant guy too. He also drove us from Zagreb to our hotel as a private transfer- he drove well and kept us informed and amused on the long drive. I would highly recommend this tour with Andi, it was a pleasure to spend our time with him.

Our guide Andy was terrific and the park is spectacular. We stayed at a hotel (Hotel Degenija - very nice - great restaurant) right outside the park so we could take a early morning tour before the day trip tours from Split got there. It was still a little crowded, but not near as bad as it got while we were finishing up our tour. It is a great place to visit, but try go early and not during the summer months as it can be very crowded.

No trip to the Balkans is complete without a visit to Plitvice Lakes NP. Extraordinarily place and Karlo is an extraordinarily guide. Be sure and request him by name!

Thanks to Andreji, our day at the lakes was fantastic with this private tour. We were given excellant explanations of things and all of our questions were answered. We managed to avoid most of the large crowds and get plenty of photos without people in them which was quite rare at the lakes. Thanks again mate!
