What To Expect
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Our comfortable, mini-van or bus will pick you up at the meeting point and head up through the countryside towards, Plitvice Lakes. The unity and harmony of 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value is not famous only throughout Croatia, but also worldwide; earning this remarkable national park a coveted place on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. Arriving to Plitvice, we’ll walk through these ancient woodlands led by our experienced guide. The path takes us first across Gornja Jezera, a system of 12 lakes separated by travertine barriers. Then it’s time for a peaceful boat ride towards the second area called Donja Jezera, placed in a limestone canyon. After the sightseeing, we will make a stop for lunch (not included in price) and make our way back to the initial point where our journey started.

1.00The location given was not the right one. The guide called and hung up on us saying it was too late and they were leaving. Really disappointed!! $400 in the fire because we never surrendered.

5.00This tour meets in front of the Grey Line tour desk and departs at 7am on a tour-specific bus. So go to the tour desk at the meeting point before 7am, tell your name and check in. Once you have booked, there will be no additional email announcements, so once you have booked, simply go to the tour desk on the morning, check in and wait for your departure in front of the shop. There are many people waiting for you on different tours, but you can rest assured that your guide will call you by name after you check in. Three hours each way, you can stop by the gas station once on your way to and from the airport to buy a toilet and drinks and food. The toilet was free. Drinks and food are expensive, so you may want to bring your own breakfast and snacks. The food at the fast food restaurant at lunch was hearty and delicious. My guide Mia was a very nice guide who explained a lot and kept everyone entertained. Thanks to our guide Mia, it was a fun tour and a really good memory. Thank you very much.

5.00Great tour to Plitvice Lakes. Our tour guide Barry was knowledgeable and funny. He had lots of good information about the national park and the areas we drove through on our way to Plitvice. He even gave us restaurant and gelato recommendations in Split. Shout out to Sonja, Barry’s colleague, she was fantastic !

5.00Great experience. Waterfalls are gorgeous. It's quite a hike but worth it if you are reasonably fit. Ivanka our tour guide was brilliant.
