Learn how to cook a famous Central Asian dish in our experiential plov-cooking tour! Begin your journey by gathering ingredients in a cozy local market. You will get tips on how to choose the ingredients and bargain like a true Central Asian. Afterward, we will join the local family where you will put your hands on the whole cooking process. You will properly cut and send all ingredients to the cauldron under the guidance of your plov instructor. And finally, you will enjoy your culinary masterpiece under the legends and stories related to plov!

5.00I can highly recommend booking one of Atabek's tours. He is a really wonderful person and very knowledgeable guide. He knows his city, culture and politics. I not only learnt a lot, I also felt very well entertained during the tour. He also supported me with transport logistics to Bishkek. Great guide and a wonderful person.
Great evening experience. Definitely a 'must do' in Osh!

5.00Excellent experience! Atabek and his Uncle & Cousin are fun and jovial. And the Plov was delicious - The best I tried on our trip in Kyrgyzstan! Atabek is very knowledgeable about Osh and his country and is a wonderful and gracious host.
The best half day you will spend in Osh.

5.00Delicious food, Kyrgyz culture and great conversation what more could you want! I cannot recommend doing this tour enough. Atabek is open, funny, insightful and like all the best guides keen to share his culture and knowledge with you. The plov ‘we’ cooked was delicious and it was lovely to meet some of Atabek’s family while we (his uncle) prepared the meal. I enjoyed every minute of this tour.

First we went to the market to get the ingredients (rice, meat, vegetables), then we watched how the pilaf was prepared, and a little bit participated in the cooking process themselves. Atabek is a good storyteller, knows a lot about the cuisine of the region, customs and way of life of the residents of Osh. Even children are interested and not bored with him: my 12-year-old son was delighted with the master class. Cozy house and picturesque garden, delicious food, new experiences. I recommend it!
Eating pilaf in Osh at Atabek's is the best idea!

5.00Hey, everybody! If you're in Osh, eating pilaf should be at the top of your to-do list in this city , and visiting Atabek is the best idea! In addition to a delicious dish, you will also learn how to cook eggle. We had an incredible experience, the history of the city, a walk around the city and, of course, a delicious pilaf. Atabek, thank you for your hospitality, care, interesting stories and delicious dinner! We'll remember that!

5.00I really enjoyed the plov cooking experience with Atabek and his family. The tour included going to the market and selecting all the ingredients and then preparing and cooking a delicious plov in a beautiful garden in Atabek's family house. Having tried several plovs after this experience, I can honestly say the plov we made during this tour was the best and most delicious one. All in all, perfect food, perfect company and perfect tour. I highly recommend it!

5.00We spent a whole day in Osh with Atabek and it was an amazing experience. The delicious plov cooked over a fire outside in the garden of Atabek's house was just one of many highlights of that day. We also visited different craftsmen and sights in Osh and the surrounding area. Atabek clearly knows a lot about Osh with its rich history and culture and he is very happy to share it in excellent English and a very comprehensive way. He was also very helpful throughout our stay in Osh with excellent recommendations for our free time. I suggest to everyone visiting Osh to get in touch with Atabek and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Atabek for such a wonderful experience in Osh and looking forward to continuing working with you.

5.00As a single traveler arriving to Osh, there was no better way to getting to know the city and new people. The tour was a combination of hosting, workshop, and a little bit of walking, Atabek was very nice and answered every question in every topic from history to cooking and tradition, and the welcoming of him and his family was incredible! I recommend the great experience very much, one of the most unique I had in Kyrgyzstan!
