Once at the Poas Volcano National Park, We'll make our way. The park has a short-distance walking path that goes all the way to the edge of the crater ideal for travelers of all ages and abilities. We will have time to gaze at stunning views of the surrounding areas and the beautiful crater

5.00Poas volcano tour with coffee tour was the perfect day trip from San Jose-and a very memorable one! The volcano was active for the first time since 2017 so were were able to see some very special and incredible sites! During the coffee tour, our teenage daughter was able actually harvest the coffee fruit and then learn how the coffee grows, is harvested, sorted, dried and roasted-plus we got to taste the coffee! The plantation was gorgeous and a very relaxing place to end our day. Our guide, Lester Campos, did a fabulous job making sure we were comfortable and happy the entire day. He was able to share details of the area and sites which made the day extra special!
