The trip was long but worth it, a great way to see Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Our tour guide Laura L. was very knowledgeable and our driver was excellent.

This tour is well organized. Giovanni and Patricia made this tour amazing and unforgettable in their care. Patricia was a great tour guide, sweet and very personable. She had a lot of history and stories to tell along the tour. Giovanni was a great driver and very personable gentleman. I highly recommend this tour if you want yo see Pompeii and Positano. Thank you so much Patricia and Giovanni. You made my day. Looking forward to go back to Rome and visit the rest of Italy.

This is a full day excursion of +10 hours. The tour guide, Anthony, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking over both ruins and on cobbles. When in Positiano be sure to try anything lemon flavoured.

Lots of time on the bus! Our guide, Kiara, while lovely and energetic, talked much of the bus time; we hoped for a bit more down time. Likely no reflection on the guide but we felt this trip was very touristy.. I’ll explain. Our bathroom stop (once on the way out and once on return) was our only only option to eat breakfast and we were greeted with only overpriced sugary options (a five euro xl doughnut or overpriced croissant). The tour met at 7 and not many options open at that point, so perhaps you can avoid this by prepping food the day before. The “tour” of the Limoncello factory was extremely disappointing. We were corralled off the bus and walked through a couple halls where you could see the machinery with zero information, and then it opened up to a gift shop. That was it. More time on the bus to positano.. we had heard great things but we it was so saturated with crowds and tourist shops and restaurants. At this point we didn’t have a lot of hope but then we got to Pompeii and got very lucky! Our group of about 50 people was split in two and our guide happened to be an archaeologist and local with extensive knowledge! Hooray for “Chico”.. he saved the day!!! We were given the “option” to purchase pizzas, which we did. It was ok and we ate it on the bus because we were short on time. All in all, we would recommend a visit to Pompeii with a guide 100%. This tour though, unfortunately we would pass on doing it again.

Clare was great and the day was better than we expected! Although the drive was long, it was totally worth it.
