5.00THIS WAS A GREAT TOUR!!! Starting the tour with a visit to the Limoncello company was a great way to begin. Lunch (on our own) in Sorento with a beautiful coastal view was very enjoyable and then the walking tour of Pompeii was AMAZING! Sonia did a great job on the bus telling stories and informing us about the area and herding her group of cats around Sorento was outstanding. Pompeii tour guide Enrico did a GREAT job of telling stories and walking us around the ruins of Pompeii! HIGHLY recommend!

3.00Overall a decent excursion. Limoncello stop is really to get you to buy stuff in the shop (although the purpose is dressed up with a tasting + a view which is across the street . Not enough time in Sorento. There were lots of beautiful places along Amalfi Coast which provided better views and photo opportunities, and I think the tour should add one of those. Tour tries to do too much.

5.00We booked and paid in advance for a trip to Pompeii, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We were directed to the third party service provider who was facilitating the trip. City Wonders. Everything started well until we realized that the tour bus was not going to Pompeii. I queried this with the guide, who then established that Viator had sent the wrong booking code to City Wonders and that the trip we were now on did not include Pompeii. There was not much we could do so we made the most of the trip which was excellent and the guide from City Wonders was beyond amazing. When I returned home from the holiday I contacted Viator and requested a refund on the tour as the tour we had booked was more expensive than the one we completed. The Viator agent who assisted me on Whats App said that they would facilitate a refund on the difference. Shortly thereafter I received a mail from Customer Services at Viator advising me that they would now not be making any refunds and that they regretted the error. How disappointing when you have saved up for several months to go on a trip and the tour operator gets it wrong. Much better to book directly with the tour agents who actually provide the tour and not a third party agent. City Wonders are an amazing company
