Your adventure continues to Mount Vesuvius, with a choice between two unique trails:

The Crater Trail leads you on a scenic ascent to the summit, where sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and a striking glimpse into the volcanic crater await.

The Valley of Hell offers a more adventurous path, winding through solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and revealing extraordinary rock formations and a hidden lava cave.

Both trails are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the area.

Very good tour, easy to follow the guides and very informative commentary. Bruno was a great driver and Maria a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.

So Federica and Nando are AMAZING. Nando was such a good driver and so kind and funny and sweet. Federica is incredibly talented. She’s great with languages but doesn’t feel like she’s always reading from a script. She went above and beyond at the end of the tour and helped me find a self serve launders place AND recommended 4 bakeries which I immediately tried and were the best food I tried in Naples. Also shout out to Shannon and Cido, our guides in pompei and Vesuvius. Similarly knowledgeable and clear experts in their craft. The “Light” lunch was not light at all. It was 3 full course, a basket of bread AND dessert. I was glad for the walk up Vesuvius to help digest. I will say it’s a pity they’ve closed the top most part of Vesuvius cause of tourists being unsafe but that’s not the tours fault.

The tour overall was a lot of fun and very well planned out. Pompei was super interesting, a must see site when in Naples, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Lunch at the winery was yummy and not rushed at all. The views from the top of Mount Vesuvius were beautiful, but make sure you wear good walking shoes to hike up to the top. The path is like a super loose gravel. The only complaint I have is that the van was very hot unless you sat in the few seats in direct line with the AC vent. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Pompei and Mount Vesuvius! And you get back with enough time in the evening to relax and go eat dinner in Naples!

This was such a fantastic tour! Our tour guide (Titti) and driver (Gennaro) were so wonderful. The drive to Pompeii was very informative and our guide in Pompeii (Teresa) was amazing. The ruins were truly a site to behold and our whole family (4 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed the trip. The hike up Vesuvius was difficult but the views were spectacular. My parents unfortunately could not make the hike as it is quite steep but myself, my husband and our two kids (12&9) were able to do it without issue. This is an experience you do not want to miss!
