Plaza Las Delicias
The walking tour begins in Plaza Las Delicias, named after its breezy winds and refreshing waterfall mists. The plaza and its surrounding areas hold a rich history of the city and the island. Parque de Bombas is located within the plaza, which was previously a festival center and firehouse. You will get a view of Castillo Serralles and Cruceta del Vigia from the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We will show you locations of historical events that occurred in Ponce, such as the Ponce massacre and the execution of criminals at Casa Alcalde, previously a jail. We will take you to the original building where the Nationalist Party of Puerto Rico held their meetings. Experience the past and present of Ponce in an informative walking tour.
Castillo Serralles
Museo Castillo Serralles We want you to be part of our museum and to experience its beauty. We offer several ways to let you engage with us to help maintain and develop the museum. Whether you are a business person who loves to preserve and care about the local history or a couple looking to get married in an awesome traditional way, we have everything for all of you. The visitor will be able to appreciate in this Museum the testimony of a time and the development of the important sugar industry and its main derivative, rum. The Serrallés Castle Museum offers you a tour where you can appreciate its collection pieces and learn about the history of the Serrallés Family. You will be able to walk between its hallways and furnished rooms, as if the family still lived in the residence.

5.00I’ve been on a lot of tours – Rolando, provided the best tour ever! Fell in love with Ponce during the walking tour – Rolando was fun, attentive, and so knowledgeable! Met a wonderful local artist and enjoyed the city with the street music, vintage cars, architecture, history and more. Beautiful views from the Serrallés Castle Museum and the top of "Cruceta del Vigia". Dinner at Nisper Asador was enjoyable, delicious and a great way to end a wonderful tour before heading back to San Juan! I highly recommend this tour!

5.00My friend and I agree that this was the best tour we have enjoyed in Puerto Rico over the past three years. Rolando was extremely knowledgeable about everything Ponce! It was obvious that he is fond of this city. He and his associate Candida were accommodating, and able to adjust the tour to our needs. The dinner at Nispero was excellent ! I can't say enough about this tour and Rolando and Candida. No doubt we will do it again next year and look forward to booking through We Take You!

It was a pleasure traveling to Ponce with them and getting to know the history and culture of Puerto Rico's second largest city. Thank you for a great trip, it was the highlight of our stay in the island.

5.00Our guide and driver, Ronaldo, grew up near Ponce, and he still lives in the Ponce area. His love of Ponce -- and his feelings about the special character of Ponce -- is clear, and he conveyed this love to us. On the trip to Ponce, Ronaldo told us much about the geography and geology of the island, and he was very conscientious in telling us about the various towns and regions that we passed through on the journey. Ronaldo's personality -- and his personal relationship with Ponce and environs -- made this a special tour.

5.00Rolando is knowledgeable , helpful and friendly. Excellent visit to Ponce. The van is new with good AC. I think the tour should be 2 hours longer to be able to visit places and have more time to look around.. I highly recommend trips with Rolando. Next time I’m in Puerto Rico and need a guide he will be who I call.

5.00Rolondo was fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable and did not rush us. A late model SUV provided a pleasant ride to and from Ponce. The tour of the downtown are including Fuentes de los Leones; the Catherdal; Fire Museum and Museo Castillo Serralles (Don Q) were outstanding. The food at the Nispero Asador was amazing. If going to Ponce this is the only way to go and We Take You is the way

5.00lovely town, plaza, cathedral, museos great architecture, restaurants foutains, should stay over the ngith and go up to the top of the cross enjoy the tea garden.

5.00Rolando was the best part about our entire trip ! His tour was so personal & special to us. We booked our hotel in Ponce instead of San Juan and absolutely had the best time visiting LOCAL restaurants- museums - historical markers & my personal favorite the 3 Kings ! Rolando went out of his way to make sure we had the very best day ! LUNCH & DINNER were nothing short of amazing ! Thank you so much Rolando for the unforgettable time !! We will be seeing you again - we loved our trip with you.
