The city has so many faces. Founded in 129. B.C. as a Roman settlement, Poreč (lat. Parentium) has come a long way. A picturesque town, whose identity was shaped through thousands of years. After the fall of Rome, Poreč came under the rule of numerous kingdoms and empires. Venetian, Austrian, Italian, Yugoslavian, and many other administrations defined the urban identity of the city.

In particular, the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica is a perfect example of that, as it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. You should visit Poreč while in Istria, Croatia. A fun and relaxing way to enjoy the Istrian coast. With a great guide. Caters for all levels and as experienced paddlers we really enjoyed ourselves.

An absolutely brilliant trip! Vedran was a wonderful guide, really knowledgable and really friendly. We had a brilliant time. The sunset was amazing and our route was perfectly planned to see it at its best. There was also a lovely little swim spot stop. Would recommend !

It was a mega beautiful experience! Would book with Ilija the tour guide again and again a kayak tour! He is very competent, funny and eager to make it a great adventure for everyone. We were a fun troupe of 6 people. You should bring change of clothes because you get a little wet. You can also change there. It is also suitable for beginners. It was a super successful evening! Thanks to Ilija , also for the great pictures. We will definitely meet again! Greetings from Micha and Yvonne from Cologne

I highly recommend this kayaking tour. Ilija was a perfect guide...calm, friendly and attentive, as well as relaxed enough to let us enjoy the trip at our own speed. The kayaks were really stable and easy to manage. Don't think about it - just do this trip as it's the perfect way to escape the tourist crowd and see the coast line at its natural best.

Very nice tour, sympathetic guide who had plenty of tips for holidays in Croatia. At a half-hour stop we could swim and there was a cool drink for all ages and something to nibble on. The sunset was very nice and the length of the tour just right. Tip: Sun hat, sunscreen and water are absolutely necessary (water is also available from the guide if necessary)

Communication was very good from the start. After making the booking we received a welcome message from Vedran introducing himself and reminding us of essentials to bring and link for directions. Everything we needed was provided for this experience including somewhere safe to keep our stuff and a place to change into dry clothes afterwards. Vedran was very friendly and reassuring as we were both pretty new to kayaking. What followed was a real highlight of our holiday with a long but leisurely, relaxing and safe trip around the harbour and nearby island set against sundown. Vedran was a very engaging and knowledgeable host. A perfect way to end the day and one we thoroughly recommend to all.

Very nice trip with a small group of four people and our very nice guide Ilija. We went first to the port of Porec, then to the standing beach and later we made a bigger round to the surrounding islands. The sunset was very nice to watch from the water, although unfortunately it was a bit cloudy. In between, Ilija repeatedly told us something about the city of Porec and also answered all our questions. The tour was just the right length with just under 2-2.5 hours and we would definitely recommend the tour!
Great experience and great value. A Porec must do.

What a superb activity! We were greeted by Ilija, who is one of the business owners and a Porec local, and he clearly take great pride in looking after his customers. The tour was done at perfect pace so that no one was left behind and there were plenty of breaks to admire the views. A stop off on a lovely island beach complete with snacks and drinks, before heading out into the Adriatic Sea for the most beautiful sunset, before arriving back into Porec for 9pm for a drink at the local bar with Ilija. A perfect evening that was the highlight of our week in Istria.

We were a small group. Ilya was nice. However, even he was too hot. It felt like he didn't feel like it in between. I had read that there were drinks on the way. Gab es. Alcoholic. We didn't have anything for our children. We took a break in the middle of other holidaymakers. There were cereal bars and watermelon. He told us exactly two things about Porec in between. Otherwise? Nothing. We were hoping to learn some informative things about Croatia, but we paddled in silence. What is nice is that he took a few photos of us on the water. Otherwise, it felt like rushing through. No break in the beautiful sunset. Just hurry back. We wanted to paddle slower to see dolphins. Unfortunately nothing. Back we thought, as described now follows the end in a bar. But we were only given a brief goodbye and that was it. Bottom line. We wouldn't do it again. Even if the paddling as such and the sunset were really nice. It was nothing special.
