This full day tour from Hobart has been designed to allow as much time as possible to explore Port Arthur. Formerly a convict site, Port Arthur is bursting with history and today boasts a landscape of natural beauty, scenic ruins and restored buildings. Make the most out of your day and join one of the complimentary site talks throughout the day. Gain a deep connection to the history of the convicts as you cruise around the Isle of the Dead on Carnarvon Bay. Lunch and refreshments can be purchased on site, or you are welcome to bring your own. Join the optional free Remarkable Caves tour and enjoy a visit to the Chocolate Factory on our return to Hobart. 5.00It was a wonderful day and I really appreciated the driver’s kindness. He did a great commentary and was very clear with instructions. I was only on the tour to see Port Arthur so I really enjoyed the drive along the coast, the oyster beds, the Tasman arch, the chocolate factory and Richmond. I still had plenty of time at Port Arthur.
Full day to Port ArthurGray lines are very fortunate to have Phil.

5.00Excellent tour for whole day, never a dull moment with guide plus bus driver Phil, a knowledgeable guide with so much information and very pleasant to hear his commentary with hints of humour every now and then. He gave ample time for us to enjoy sights in ease. Port Arthur is worth a visit, so beautiful, so much history, dont miss this tour if you are visiting Hobart. We were picked up in time near our hotel which was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

5.00Our tour was very informative and the driver was marvellous. Colin was funny but also full of local history, making the day very enjoyable not boring. We are so glad we decided to book the Port Arthur tour.

5.00It was a great tour. Our bus driver / tour guide Colin was very knowledgable and shared lots of facts and interesting stories about the places we visited or drove past. Port Arthur historic site was interesting to learn about. Also stopped by a few nice lookouts along the way. Just wish we could have spent a bit more time at each one to admire the amazing views.

5.00Port Aurthor is remarkable historical spots ,with special old buildings, apartment, churchs and fabulous sea view. The visitors can get the idea of the pitty live of convict and how the prison officers manage those convicts.
