  The tour wasn’t impressive. The guide was amazing and knowledgeable. However, this is just a distillery meaning tha the alcohol is just distilled here. All the other major processes are done at different places. It is a small distillery and when we went in there, nothing was being done meaning you just see huge tanks not in use. Maybe they don’t work all 7 days of the week but it was disappointing. The whiskey tasting itself is bad too. Being a new distillery they do not have their own scotch whiskey ready yet. They make you taste 2 new makes (produced by them), sherry, port, and a whiskey all not produced by their distillery. It wasn’t what I was expecting. I would suggest going to some countryside distillery to get a more traditional tour. Even though modern distilleries are state of the art and mechanised it’s good to learn how it was traditionally done. I believe this place jumped into tours and stuff to quickly. They should have set themselves first waited for 3-5 years and then started tours. Nobody wants to learn from someone who has bot even started actual sales/ business and just been there for 2 years now. I would prefer learning from someone who has been doing this since a decade or too

  The tour and tasting was exceptional! We came in the winter while it’s quieter and it’s been lovely and chill, but I can imagine the place having a real buzz in summer. Fraser our tour guide was amazing. He explained the process in such a way that it’s perfect for beginners, answered all our questions and even though I know quite a bit about whisky, I learned quite a lot myself. A new distillery and while there is none of their own whisky yet, the focus on the new make and the actual port and sherry was a refreshing take on a distillery tasting. A lot of care has gone in to this place. And you can tell. Staff in the bar and shop were also delightful and I can’t wait to buy my first bottle of Port of Leith Whisky next year!   Very interesting tour. There was me and two Austrian men. Simon the guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the whiskey but also mindful that whiskey is about taste. I wasn't sure about the whiskey i tasted from the distillery. Great story about how two friends fulfilled a dream good luck to them. The construction of the distillery was fascinating. I have never been to a distillery before and felt honoured to see the worlds tallest distillery. I look forward to seeing the final malt whisky in the future.

  Fraser was a very knowledgeable , passionate and practical chap who explained everything in layman’s terms, often changing his presentation to accommodate knowledge with in. A credit to both himsel of and company! Great product, great tour! Ta N

  Something a bit different than the usual distillery visit. Our guide Izzy was friendly and knowledgeable. Head to the rooftop bar after for food, drink and great views

  Interesting experience, 1.5 hour tour per person was £30. We have tested 5 flavours of their products and ended up with purchase of 2 bottles, Adeline was great tour guide.

  Such a good day out and Izzy was amazing! The tour was fun, educating and great to do the tastings at the end! This was my 4th time and every time gets better!

  A unique distillery on the banks of the Forth. The limited footprint which made a multi-story building necessary, means the structure is as much of the tour as the distillation. The tour guide was knowledgeable, charming and well worth listening to. Loved the fact the distillery drilled a borehole to obtain its own water supply.
