Snorkeling is the perfect family holiday activity – even for non-swimmers! If this is your first time snorkeling or you have little experience in water/ocean, please let us know prior to arrival so we can accommodate accordingly. We have life rings, pool noodles and life jackets available to increase your confidence in the water.

For those looking for a little more, some free diving skills to assist you in duck diving down to get up close to the native marine life you can expect to encounter. Then it’s a short walk to the beach where you’ll encounter an array of mesmerizing marine life including the Weedy Sea Dragons, Puffer Fish, Smooth Rays, Sponge Life and more! You’ll always have access to a life ring during your tour for maximum safety and comfort. This also combined with a buoyant wetsuit, enables non-competent swimmers to enjoy the experience.

5.00Had a great experience with my Daughter. Charlotte was our guide and was very informative and helpful. And yes! we saw 3 weedy sea dragons. Highly recommend

5.00There is a dive shop where you can walk from the beach, We were scuba diving under the pier. It's not that deep, it's very calm, so maybe it's perfect for beginners. You can take a closer look and photograph, say, a species of fish that is endemic to Australia. I'd definitely love to see Woody Sea Dragon. There seems to be a wide variety of other creatures, so you might want to look for them If you love the ocean, whether it's a private tour or a group tour, you might want to join. It's easy to make reservations online

5.00My partner and I had a wonderful time snorkeling - saw many rays, puffer fish and most of all weedy sea dragon! Our guide was top notch, super well knowledge and they even had names for the local rays. Would recommend

5.00We had an amazing time snorkelling in Portsea with Bay Play. Equipment and gear was in excllent condition and the guides were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We saw one large weedy sea dragon as well as lots of stingrays, squid, many varieties of fish and colourful sea sponges.
