Unique and fun activity in a stunning sand dune landscape. Suitable for all ages and abilities. We are a small family business that takes pride in being only sand dune business in Port Stephens that provides both sit down and stand up options, with strapped boards for standing. Instruction, Supervision, Shade , tables and chairs provided at the Sandboarding location to provide a premium experience for our customers. You can stay and play as long as you like, most people spend 1-2 hours.

Join us for an epic adventure on the largest moving sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere! Our Sandboarding Safari will take you across the magnificent sand dunes in one of our awesome 4WD vehicles to our Sandboarding area, right in the heart of the dunes. The 4WD will drop you off here for your Sandboarding adventure. We provide a shaded picnic area with tables and chairs, feel free to bring along some snacks and drinks. One of our friendly instructors will teach you the safe method of Sandboarding for both sit down and stand up. You can try one or both, it’s entirely up to you. Our bowl shaped dune features both smaller slopes as well as a monster hill. You choose the size of the hill based on your confidence level. Sandboarding is suitable for all ages and abilities!

5.00We had a great experience on our first sandboarding outing. It’s a smaller tour operator that mainly cater families and small groups. They have access to dunes of different heights and level of experience. The staff is very friendly and because they cater smaller groups also more attentive to anyone needs. Definitely recommended.

5.00Great fun and unique experience. Walking up the dunes does require fitness but the surf down makes it worth it. Take water, it’s tiring work. Stunning scenery. Great tour operators happy to answer questions and help out.

4.00It was very hot so bring sunscreen, hat and a lot of cold water (you'll need it!). Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a camera because it will be a fun memories. Not much people but still good you have all the place. You can chose how high you sand boarding. Be prepared going back up you'll be catching your breath!

5.00My family had great fun sandboarding until my son was exhausted. Before our trip Ana was very helpful and kept me updated when plans changed. She also promptly responded and changed my booking when I accidentally booked the wrong day. Online booking was easy. It was simple to catch the shuttle bus which left regularly from the meeting point, which was next to where another operator runs camel rides along the beach.

5.00The service was fantastic and an amazing experience for adults and kids!! When the day we had scheduled turned out to be too windy, the team was extremely flexible and allowed us to re-book with ease for the next day. They were helpful and responsive with all our questions and we will definitely be returning! Thanks again for an awesome day.

5.00So much fun, kids love it. You need a lot of sunscreen or something can cover you under the sun, so hot there. Take a lot of water with you as well

1.00We booked this tour for our group of 4, we had car trouble in the morning but had a 2 1/2 hour drive to get there En route, we texted them to let them know we were running late…a few minutes later received a text that said “disregard the forecast, it is raining and we are packing up” We were well on our way, continued with the trip and upon our arrival found the weather favorable and several other tour operators working. Be sure to chose another company, these guys were unreliable and seemed they just wanted the day off! We used 4 Wheel Drive Tours are Us and they were fantastic!
