With this experience, you will be able to get to know Porto's city center with a local.
From main attractions, to narrow streets of the most authentic neighborhoods, we will stroll around getting to know history, legends, curiosities and lifestyle.
We will pass by the most important monuments such as: University of Porto, Cathedral, Train station, but also viewpoints, old quarters, riverside areas and gardens.
We do not enter monuments. Once you know what there is in the city, you can choose what to return to visit.

5.00Our tour guide, Fiel, was extremely enthusiastic and made sure the hole group was welcome. He took time to chat with everyone and share his encyclopaedic knowledge of the city and its history. The few hours we took for our tour were well spent. For a free tour with the guide relying on tips, I’d hope he was well paid by our group. This is an excellent way to see the city and I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

5.00A beautiful city by the river! The Porto tour was amazing, from wine cellars to riverside views. Rich history, delicious food, and incredible architecture. The guide was engaging and full of fun facts!

5.00Looking for a great value walking tour to take in the key historical sights of Porto - book here! The walk is approx 3 hours and includes a single glass of port and a light snack. We completed the tour as a first activity on arrival and it was a fantastic introduction to the city. Nuno, our guide, was very knowledgeable as a local and provided plenty of suggestions for the rest of our short stay. They're down to earth, funny and can entertain a small group. Be prepared for lots of walking around pavements, cobbled streets with varying gradients. Don't worry if you find yourself wanting to revisit an area, get intentionally lost in Porto! Shout out to Nuno for showing us the real Porto! Anne and Elliot.

5.00We can’t recommend this experience enough! Our guide Nuno, a true Porto local, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city. It felt particularly special to be able to go around on a very busy Saturday with only four of us on our tour. Thanks for the tips on where to eat like a local we particularly liked our port tasting at the Wine Shop.

5.00Nuno is a great tour guide! it turned out to be private tour just for our family of 4. He told history of Porto, he is very good in english, I can understand him perfectly, we had wine tasting, he showed us how to appreciate wine, he also recommended local restaurants. It was a fantastic tour!

5.00Nuno from C&D Tours was our fantastic guide! He is was fun and knowledgeable. He met us and started the tour at Clerigos Tower. And we were able to go right into the church, avoiding lines. From there, the tour was geographically logical and efficient, and each site was connected by Nuno’s storytelling to Porto’s peculiar and fascinating history: the former prison, train station, Palace of Justice, the Bishops residence, more churches and why each church was a different impact on Porto, Lbraria Lello, Rue Flores. We don’t understand the interconnection between the Roman Catholic Church and Porto’s political story. We had a port tasting which was also a fascinating explanation of how the making of port and how it is instrumental to the history of the city. We also got restaurant recommendations, so we avoided the river tourist maze and later ate at small, more traditional Portuguese establishments. Definitely recommend this tour—it’s not too strenuous for how hilly Porto can be, and it’s a great value
