The trip to Porvoo takes approximately 40 minutes, on the way we will tell you about the history of Finland and also the cultural aspects of the Finnish nation. Porvoo is the second oldest city in Finland. The town is famed for its "Old Town", a dense medieval street pattern with wooden houses. It is the town of Johan Ludvig Runeberg and Albert Edelfelt. We also will visit the market square, King's hotel, Merchant houses, and Toy store.

My wife and I enjoyed our private tour of Porvoo. Our guide picked us up at our hotel in Helsinki in his comfy van and was great to talk with. He was very knowledgeable as history is his passion. We visited the sights in Porvoo, stopped for coffee and enjoyed a bit of shopping. I would highly recommend and would go again!

Phenomenal tour with Darius. Loved visiting Porvoo and enjoyed delicious hot chocolate and pastries. But the highlight was listening to Darius talk about Finland. We learned so much fun! Definitely do not miss this tour!

The tour gave little time for seeing the town on your own or even lunch. Everything was so rushed or it felt like we were being peddled to buy art or chocolate. The town was nice and the tour guide was polite.

Our tour guide, Darius, was very knowledgeable, he told us about the history of the town, history of the important buildings. This old town is very charming, we hit the good time for the beautiful fall colors too. It was a real great tour.

Peter was a great guide. He told us of the history of the area and town during our drive to Porvoo as well as answering questions about his background. He provided detailed explanations while we were walking around the town. We also enjoyed the stop for coffee and treats! We would recommend this tour for anyone wanting a day trip from Helsinki
