You will be taken by car to the Imperial District and stop by the Mickiewicz Square. Here you will admire an impressive Imperial Castle, build by Prussians, planned to be used by Hitler, to finally become a Palace of Culture. The Square is also well known for the 1956 Memorial which commemorates the first anticommunist uprising in Poland, the Adam Mickiewicz University and the Opera House located nearby.

5.00Our tour guide was Adam and we couldn’t have had a better guide. He grew up in Posnan and was well versed on its history. Adam was punctual, knowledgeable and his English was exceptional. He was open to all questions about the city and Poland in general. We highly recommend him and if we ever come back to Posnan we would definitely ask for him.

5.005 out of 5. Our guide Aleksandra was very knowledgeable about the city of Poznan and took us to the main sites around town. Poznan is a hidden gem in Poland. This tour is a must do if in town.

5.00Altogether an excellent experience. Our interest was in military vehicles and Piotr demonstrated his considerable knowledge as he took us round the Poznan Tank Museum. Aleksandra (Olla) took over for the afternoon, and knowledgeably guided us around the historical sights. Both our guides were experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. You can't ask for more.
