Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take your group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun-filled 10-hour road trip from Prague to Berlin. You will learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of both, the Czech Republic and Germany.
This tour offers hotel pick-up and drop off for private bookings. You will be picked up from your hotel, apartment, or any other pick-up point accessible by car.

Elbe Sandstone Mountains
Take in the breathtaking views of the Saxon Switzerland National Park at one of its most famous sights - the Bastei Bridge. We’ll visit one of the most iconic spots in Saxon Switzerland National Park—the breathtaking Bastei Bridge. Built in the 19th century, when the region first became a popular destination for nature lovers and artists, the bridge connects towering sandstone rock formations high above the Elbe River. From the Bastei rocks and the bridge, you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the endless green forests that stretch across the landscape. It’s one of the most photogenic locations in the region and a perfect place to take in the natural beauty of Saxon Switzerland.
The Dresden Zwinger
In Dresden, we take a look at the extravagant Zwinger palace, and Semperoper house, learn about the history of Dresden, see the biggest mural painting on the walls of the Royal palace, visit the magnificent Frauenkirche church and then sit down for a delicious lunch (not included).

5.00This tour is the perfect way to see cities I would’ve otherwise probably not gotten to see! Dresden was cool, but the view from the Bastei Bridge in particular made the entire trip truly worth it - even with a drizzle. It was absolutely stunning. Our guide Jon was very friendly and accommodating. He made sure that we got some great pictures and were comfortable throughout the tour. It was a wonderful day overall!

5.00Don’t hesitate to book with SideTrip! They are very reliable. We were totally satisfied with all aspects of this experience from start to finish. Our guide Jonathan was terrific. We booked the private door to door tour and it was worth it. It was pouring rain when we got to the Bastei Bridge, so we asked Jonathan to cut that short and spend more time in Dresden, which was lovely. If you need to get from prague to berlin, this is a fun way to do it!

Easy communications booking the tour, easy pick up and drop off locations, great value and the Sidetrip Tours van was extremely clean and comfortable. We made three stops at beautiful locations to include a lunch spot. Petr was an excellent tour guide taking us on several walking tours along the way. Petr was awesome; I highly recommend Sidetrip Tours!

5.00My husband found Sidetrip Tours while we were planning our travels and thought it sounded like a fantastic way to do a transport. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute! Nikolai is an incredible driver and guide and we had so much fun with him. I especially enjoyed our conversations (I sat in the front seat). He is very kind and accommodating, very knowledgeable and interesting. We had only one other couple in our trip and it was fantastic traveling with them! They feel like old friends now. The price is very reasonable and everything went along smoothly. I highly recommend Sidetrip Tours and would use them again for traveling. Thank you for an excellent day!

5.00We looked into taking the train from Berlin to Prague, but decided to take this transfer which included 3 different types of stops-a castle in the countryside, Dresden with a tour of the city’s highlights (amazing!), and a spectacularly beautiful national park. Our driver/ guide Peter was wonderful-knowledgeable, sweet and a very good driver. We would definitely suggest taking a SideTrip transfer for their drives & stops along the way for a number of cities.

Along the way, I connected with fellow travelers and discovered sights I never would have stumbled upon on my own. Stepan was outstanding—his depth of knowledge across history, cultures, and countries was remarkable, and his personal stories were just as captivating. This experience made the trip unforgettable, and I would gladly travel with Side Tours again.

4.00Fantastic way to transit between Berlin and Prague. Comfortable transportation. Multiple sightseeing stops that we would not have seen if travelling by train. Highlights were definitely Dresden and Saxon Switzerland National Park. Our driver/tour guide Abdul made the trip special.

5.00Being able to sightsee on our way from Prague to Berlin was awesome. We loved the variety of places we went and the history we learnt in Dresden. So good to stretch our legs and enjoy the sun and vibes of Germany. Great van, timely pickup and drop off. Lovely host. Will use again and recommend for sure!
