Small goups. Big flavours. Real stories. The original Prague food tour by Taste of Prague since 2011, recommended by the NYT. The idea is simple: take you to places you would not have found, order delicious, authentic dishes and drinks you would not have ordered. And tell you things you didn't know you should google.
We run this on empathy. We know how precious your vacation time is, so we will not waste it on second-rate food or experience. We will treat your vacation and trip to Prague as if it were our own.
So if you want to spend a few hours in the company of well-traveled locals who will serve you must-try foods and drinks and will not resort to tourist clichés because simply our conscience would not let us (and our Czech friends would eat us alive for it), we'll be happy to have you.

Just kidding. You will not be seeing the Charles Bridge. No authentic food around it! (Okay, with one exception, but that's it!)

Where social change happens. This avenue is central to Czech history, past and present. We will be finishing the tour very nearby.

All Fees and Taxes
Water is available in every stop on the tour. Bottled water is provided on hot days.
The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people cancel their dinner reservations after the tour if they have any.
One local drink per stop. (And we have non-alcoholic options, too.)
Non-alcoholic options are available if you'd like to skip on alcohol. But then again, why would you? You're on vacation, right?
We're easy. Just ask. Sure, we'll hold your baby. Yes, we'll make that reservation. Etc.
The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people leave the tour full and satisfied. Perhaps feeling a bit guilty.
We're proud of the local things we serve. Your foreign cravings will not be included in the price.

5.00Our guide Jan was charming, knowledgeable and educated us about food, his countries history and culture. Delicious experience starting with pub food, and ending with Michelin rated dishes and masterful pastry.

5.00This is a relaxed and enjoyable food tour with local beer and wine. Our guide Jan was very knowledgeable. It is also a cultural tour of Prague. I recommend it.

5.00Very good guide and good stops As per other food/walking tours I’ve taken in Europe, some of the stops would be harder to get into just walking up so appreciate having everything planned ahead for the group

5.00Excellent tour led by Jan. Great introduction to Czech food, beer and wine, along with life in the Czech Republic. Good choice of treats including meatloaf in a bun, marinated Hermelin cheese, tasters at Michelin restaurant, and finished off with delicious choice pastry treats - with beer and a selection of excellent wines. Nice finishing touch, e-mail giving details of tour, and ‘lifelong’ support in this wonderful city.

4.00Tour was overall good with a knowledgeable and accommodating guide, Yann. He was friendly and gave us lots of good food tips and history snippets, but we felt a bit disappointed that food portions were not bigger for the price that we paid per person. We actually ended up eating more and going for an Pilsner after the tour. Overall not a bad experience, just not as expected / exceptional.

5.00We liked how they started out with traditional/local food and dining spots, and progressed to a more elevated restaurant and food. All of the food was delicious, especially the desserts! We also enjoyed the cocktail at the cocktail bar at the end. Our guide (Clara?) was a local and very knowledgeable.

5.00Klara was a phenomenal guide, and I really appreciated the variety of the food stops along the tour. It was a delicious mix of traditional foods with delightfully unexpected stops - particularly the "main course" stop at a restaurant that I would have never thought to visit but was blown away. 100% would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a well-rounded foodie experience!

5.00This is a very good food tour where you can taste traditional Czech cuisine as well as the modern cuisine. And in the meantime, Jan tells you all about life in the Czech Republic, now and in communist times. Very interesting!
Highly recommend Klara and her tour company. It was a great introduction to the food and old Prague.

5.00My wife and I toured with Klara. who was spectacular. She met us at the appointed time and location, spent some time with us and the other two couples on the tour and proceeded to give us some very interesting facts about Prague, its history and some personal family history. We visited 3 different locations, all of which were fun and delicious! She was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks served during the tour and always sprinkled in fun facts about the specific areas we visited.
Excellent way to learn Prague, eat well, and spend time with a local.

5.00This was an excellent experience. I loved how the history of Prague was shared through the lens of its food as well as how the city's culinary landscape has taken on its own unique identity as well as integrated European and other cultures within. Bravo Taste of Prague!
