Was in Prague for a Valentine's weekend trip with my wife, and in recent years we have really taken to Food Tours as a great way to get to know local culture, and when in Prague this was something we really wanted to do. We booked this tour with no issues, and our guide Sonny was waiting for us when we arrived at the meeting point. The tour takes place across the castle district of the city, so you are away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist sites, meaning all the places you visit are about as local as you can get, which is a BIG bonus. For the next couple of hours Sonny was a fantastic guide who took us across this part of the city and we had fantastic things to eat in every stop. The tour starts at 11am, and we had what we thought was a light breakfast, but wish we had skipped breakfast completely as you will go away from this tour stuffed and in need of a few hours sleep. Across the 2 or so hours you visit maybe 4 or 5 different places, and get to try about a dozen dishes, ranging from a soup starter.... pastries... cheese and wine..... pork, goulash and beef dishes... and end with a gingerbread man. Not all that much walking involved as all the stops are very close together. Sonny was also very kind to email us the recipes for some of the dishes, as the cheese dish that we tried in one place was really good, and my Ukrainian wife wants to try make it at home. On the whole, easily one of the best tours I have done in Prague and can highly recommend.

Viktoria was a great guide. She was really friendly and easy to talk to. Great knowledge of Prague and even when she didn't know the answer to a question right there and then - she went and sourced the answer. She went above and beyond. The food venues taken to were all fantastic and I loved getting the 'local feel'.

Our small tour group of 7 people (from the USA and UK) were met by our amazing guide - Viktoria. Straight away Viktoria ensured that we started to get to know our fellow tourists. This made the whole experience very relaxed. On this tour you will get a LOT of food and some drinks – go hungry. Our first stop on this tour round Mala Strana was at a local restaurant where we had large bowls of soup – beef broth or pea soup were on offer. Viktoria got us all chatting and told us about Czech food and Prague. Next, we visited a hidden local gem where we tried pickled cheese, pickled sausage, bread and wine. Then it was a short stroll to a local shop where we stood outside as we ate Chlebicky – a very large and filling open top sandwich. Delicious. Next we continued our stroll through Mala Strana – the Lennon Wall and Little Venice – Viktoria telling us all about these sights. Another local restaurant and brewery came next. We tried 2 dishes here – Pork, potato dumplings and sauerkraut, and Fried cheese with potatoes. Washed down with fresh brewed beer or some wine. After that we were very full. Another short walk for a sweet treat – a delicious gingerbread man. An amazing, fun tour with a superb guide. I highly recommend this Secret Food Tour of Prague. After the tour Viktoria sent us a great email with restaurant recommendations, local food tips, and even some Czech recipes for some of the foods we had tried. Thanks Viktoria !!

We just had a great early afternoon walking food tour in Prague today. Our guide Sonny was excellent - not a lot he didn’t know about the local cuisine or the local area! We loved tasty all of the different foods, we weren’t expecting to get quite as much to eat as we did. And as well as the lovey soups, sandwiches, cheeses, sausages and much more the wine and glass of beer also went down a treat! Would definitely recommend, just don’t eat before you go! Thanks for your company and stories Sonny, we had a great time!

We spent a brilliant few hours exploring hidden gems of local Prague cuisine. Our excellent guide, Sonny, was full of knowledge and enthusiasm - both of the food and the history of this amazing city. As well as the plentiful food tastings, we also had local beer and wine. Having been previously impressed with a Secret Food Tour in Paris, Prague certainly did not disappoint. Overall a great tour - highly recommended!

This was an amazing experience and a complete MUST! Karolina was friendly, knowledgable and clearly passionate about Czech culture - she introduced us to a variety of foods, making sure to take our preferences/requests in mind and she added in some excellent sites to the tour as well. Her passion and knowledge took this tour from good to great! Everything we tried was unique and tasty, the venues were cosy and friendly and it was a joy from start to finish! Thank you Karolina
