Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take your group on a fun-filled 10-hour road trip from Prague to Budapest.
This tour offers hotel pick-up for private bookings. You will be picked up from your hotel, apartment, or any other pick-up point accessible by car.
During the tour, we will visit the Sedlec Ossuary in Kutná Hora, UNESCO listed chapel famously adorned with the bones of over 40,000 people.
In Mikulov, we' ll have a delicious lunch (not included) and will explore the historic Mikulov Castle, while soaking in the charm of the town’s Baroque and Renaissance architecture.
Then we'll have a chance to walk around the 19th-century Lednice Palace and Gardens.
This tour offers hotel drop-off for private bookings. Please provide your preferred drop-off location when making the booking.

The Cemetery Church of All Saints with the Ossuary
Start your eventful day with a visit to one of the most unusual and thought-provoking sights in the Czech Republic—the Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the "Bone Church", in Kutná Hora. This UNESCO-listed chapel is famously decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people, arranged into elaborate designs, including chandeliers, coats of arms, and pyramids of skulls. As we explore the interior of this small Gothic chapel, we’ll learn about the origins and symbolism behind the Ossuary, reflecting on its powerful message about mortality, remembrance, and the cycle of life. Please note: Entry to the Ossuary is not included in the tour price. Tickets: Adults CZK 220 / Students & Seniors CZK 150 / Children (6–15 years) CZK 80 / Children under 6 enter free.
Mikulov
Stroll through the picturesque town of Mikulov, exploring the historic Mikulov Castle, which offers stunning views and fascinating exhibitions about the region’s rich history. As we wander through the charming town square, we will admire colorful Baroque and Renaissance buildings, have lunch and soak in the vibrant local atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of a renowned wine region, we will also have the chance to enjoy exceptional wine tastings in Mikulov’s many local cellars and wine bars, where we can savor the area’s celebrated vintages. Learn about the centuries-old wine growing traditions in Mikulov area and have the pleasure of tasting the famous local wine (optional, wine tasting is not included in the price of the tour).

5.00The Vienna to Prague transfer tour was amazing. We visited many beautiful places and saw so much. The tour guides were excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. It turned a day that would have been spent just traveling and turned it into a fun adventure. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting these cities or any others that Sidetrip offers.

5.00We booked a one way tour from Vienna to Prague to see more of the country side. William arrived on time in a spacious clean van. He took us safely through the countryside of Czechia to visit three wonderful towns we would not otherwise have seen on a train ride. William was very pleasant and knowledgeable and provided lots of history at all the locations as well as walking us to lots of great photo ops spots 😁. I will say the weather was extremely cold and dreary but William still provided top notch guide service and braved the weather with us. Would definitely recommend this transportation company and this tour guide.

5.00Had a blast going from Prague to Vienna - we got to visit UNESCO heritage towns, see picturesque castles/cathedrals, make amazing new friends, try local wines, and also happen to reach Vienna in the process. Pavlina our host/guide not only was extremely knowledgeable but also brought a lot of personality to the tour. She knew a lot of tidbits, fun facts, local secrets, and constantly made the tour personal and fun. She was also extremely caring and flexible in making sure all our needs were met. 10/10 highly recommend this if you happen to be in central Europe. Can't wait to do another one of these.

5.00We took a tour from Vienna to Prague via Cesky Krumlov rather than sit on a train. It was wonderful. Our guide Michaela met us at the door and helped with the luggage. She was very friendly and knowledgable and gave us a lot of information about Vienna and Prague. We spent about three hours in Cesky Krumlov which was simply magical especially at Christmas. We wrapped up with an authentic lunch before heading to Prague. We encountered a problem at our Airbnb in Prague and Michaela assured she wasn't leaving until everything was figured out. I highly recommend this company and Michaela!!!

5.00We are so happy that we decided to use Sidetrip for our transfer Prague to Vienna in early December 2025. The booking process was simple and the email updates before the actual trip helped reduce the worry about what we specifically had to do. It was particularly helpful to get an email about the new requirement for timed entry tickets to the Bone Ossuary in Sedlec, which we definitely wanted to see. (Make sure you have WhatsApp on your mobile so your guide/driver can communicate with you.) The van was very comfortable for our group of five, and Michaela was a wonderful guide/driver. She made the stops through Kutna Hora, Mikulov, and Lednice fun and relaxed, and she was kind enough to take photos of our group at several locations. The places that she took us for lunch and snacks/drinks were wonderful, and her food recommendations were spot-on! We really enjoyed the trip, and wholeheartedly recommend Sidetrip and Michaela for this tour!

She was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable—her passion for the region’s history and culture shone through at every stop. Lenka made the day feel effortless and fun while sharing fascinating details that made each destination come alive. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, with each stop offering something truly memorable. We began in Kutná Hora, where we visited the hauntingly beautiful Sedlec Ossuary—often called the “Bone Church”—and explored the medieval town’s UNESCO-listed St. Barbara’s Cathedral. From there, we traveled to Mikulov, a picturesque wine town with a stunning hilltop castle and charming streets. We even had time to enjoy a wine tasting, which was a wonderful way to experience the region’s local flavors. Our final stop was the breathtaking Lednice Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by immaculate gardens and the largest park in Czechia. By the time we arrived in Vienna, we felt as though we’d traveled through centuries of history, culture, and beauty—all in one day. 5.00Český Krumlov Was a beautiful, quaint historic town in Czechia. Petra was a great guide. She offered us lunch options in town so we could customize our time there to our wishes. We felt this was a far better way to spend our day going from Prague to Munich rather than in airports and on airplanes (or on trains and in train stations). The vehicle was spacious and had plenty of room for us and our luggage.

5.00Jana is fantastic! She picked us up from our hotel in Prague. showed us plenty of interesting sights from the car along the way, and gave us a tour of Cesky Krumlov. Then she left us for a few hours to wander around the town (shop, eat, etc) until we met her again. She kindly moved the car to be closer to our meeting point and then safely drove us to our hotel in Vienna. Cesky Krumlov is just adorable & we are so glad we got to spend some time there. Jana is wonderful! Highly recommend!
