Praslin, the second largest island in Seychelles, lies approximately 1 hour by boat from Mahe. Visitors will be able to visit the Vallee-de-Mai, the only place on earth where the giant Coco-de-Mer nut grows in its natural state - a walk along the tended paths of this primeval forest, listening to the trill of the rare Black Parrot, transports one to the beginning of time; giving credence to the legends of this World Heritage Site being the original Garden of Eden. The tour includes a visit to the famous Anse Lazio beach, before the 30-minute crossing to La Digue, during which one has a good chance to spot dolphins. Visitors to La Digue island will marvel at the timeless atmosphere, with the comforts of the 21st century blending smoothly with the tranquility of yesteryear, where life is lived mainly at the pace of the oxen. Transfer from the jetty is by ox-cart to L'Union Estate for a tour of the copra sheds, the giant land tortoises and the recently refurbished colonial plantation house, location of the film “Goodbye Emmanuelle”. The tour of La Digue resumes by 'camion', an open-sided truck with canopy, stopping at Anse Source d’Argent, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world, allowing you ample time to photograph the impressive granite rock formations. This 11-hour tour, which sometimes starts on La Digue, is an attractive opportunity to visit the highlights of both islands in one day. 1.00In La Digue coming off the ship I went to the beach with a friend and his father. The father had paid 150$ USD to be taken to the beach on a golf cart. Upon embarcation the woman asked for further 50$ USD. He refused upon which she got really angry and called him a lier. She finally took us to the beach and was to pick us up at 11 am for tour of the island. At 11h30 not there. I asked another to call. When she came she said he had been impolite and screamed. She took 15 minutes to take us to another beach no tours. Back 2h. Later. Took us about a mile then back to ship. Basically a scam. Don't go

4.00Bigger group than I expected. Around 20 per group so could not always see what was being shown / hear the rep as two groups often mingled together but they were good at repeating when you said you had missed it. Do not expect oxen ride though this stopped years ago due to animal protests so you are put on the back of a van. Again around 20 per van. Not quite what we had expected. Lunch is served on the boat not at the island which is not good for those who had motion sickness but did look nice food. Having said all the above it was a good day and we enjoyed it just wish we had gone in with different expectations

5.00This was a fantastic tour, well worth the money and a great way to see the other islands, without having to worry about transportation. The guides were excellent - both informative and entertaining - plus the lunch served was also good. Would thoroughly recommend. Unfortunately the weather turned on the way back, so the crossing back to Mahé was rather bumpy - take sea sickness pills!

5.00A wonderful mix of beach, nature and local interest. Our guide, Joseph, was great, knowledgeable, friendly and had some good banter. The team on the boat were fantastic. Lunch was delicious and they organised it well. They were very helpful, friendly and even did a little dancing and singing at the end of the trip which everyone enjoyed and created a great atmosphere.

5.00Others had suggested more time at each stop…but there is no way to get done as much as this tour does any other way. Set your expectations to sight see, get some beautiful pix, and cover a lot of ground in one excursion and you will not be disappointed. Expect a details experience at each stop with hours for each one and you are expecting too much of one day. Great staff…friendly…fun. Highly recommend.

4.00Choppy seas but all well worth it to see the indigenous palm trees ans coco de mer! Got to see the beautiful tortoises!! I wish we had more time on the islands to adventure onwards!

5.00At the begininng I was angry because I booked with Vision voyages and they transferd me to Masons without letting me know. The tour itself was great. Masons is a great company. Catamaran was clean and new. I was worried about seasick but I was lucky. The sea was calm and smooth and the scenery during the sailing was wowww!!! La Digue and Prasling were very beautiful. The price is expensive but it is a must tour.
