Boarding takes place via a spacious shuttle boat (for up to 15 people) that transports guests to the catamaran. This shuttle, like all our vessels, undergoes inspection every six months to ensure safety and quality. From the beach hut (where check-in takes place), it’s a short 30-meter/ 98 foot ride to the catamaran. This area of the sea is as calm as a lake, with little to no waves throughout the year

You can spot angel fish, damsel fish, octopuses, sea fans and coral. New to snorkeling? Not a problem. 1.00Very terrible experience!! First time in Aruba and I’ve texted and called multiple times a hour before sailing and no communication in exact location while being located on the beach of dock. Very terrible customer Service when trying to communicate on proper accommodations.

5.00We had a great time! The tour guides were so fun! We got to see the ship wreak and some turtles, and had some amazing drinks and food! We went as a group of 10 celebrating a bride to be and they made sure we all had a great time! Will book again next time we are in Aruba!
Short Time at each Snorkel Spot

4.00The boat was fun and the drinks were plentiful although they are definitely watered down. There are two snorkeling spots that we stopped at. The first place was very rough and I honestly think they should have chosen a different location because it was dangerous and the operators really don't care. The second stop was good but they don't give you a lot of time. The food was varied and they kept it coming. I mentioned I had a shrimp allergy and they made special little wraps for me. That was nice but they were overly cautious and served me special wraps for items I'm not allergic to, ie chicken salad. Overall, it was fun but I wouldn't book it again due to the short time spent at each spot. It's better to just drive to the location where you want to snorkel and enter from the water (as we did at several beaches).

4.00The crew was great. Very attentive, helpful. The snorkeling at sunken ship was a new experience but second spot we stopped was poor at best. No coral and no color. But maybe we have our selves to blame for destroying things.
Do not book octopus tours!

1.00The trip was cancelled with only 15 minutes notice. (We had an 81 year old with us). We rebooked with another company and are awaiting our refund. I recommend booking via pelican and not octopus! Octopus communication was awful!

1.00The trip was cancelled due to a defect on the boat. This company did not inform of this problem until 15 mins before. We booked with pelican who were great. (We had to pay again. Just book Pelican!

1.00Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. For an all-you-can-drink tour, I had to wait a long time just to get a drink or have someone ask if I needed anything. The crew was also not interactive with the whole group, which made the experience feel unwelcoming and disappointing. I was also concerned that when I asked about the ingredients in the food, the crew members could not provide an answer. This is important information, especially for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions. Overall, I was very disappointed with the level of service provided.

5.00Our snorkeling day with Octopus was so fun and beautiful and delivered everything promised. The sail with captain Martin was glorious and snorkeling spots were great. The light lunch just what was needed and Shacka was crew were super helpful. Jose at check in was entertaining and a friendly way to bring everyone together. What a great start to a fun day with the whole family.

5.00Shaka and Vincent were excellent guides! Provided education on how to snorkel for beginners like myself and provided history on the ship wreck at our first stop. Great snacks and drinks which were provided frequently. The amount of people on the trip was just right and not over crowded like the other boats that we saw. Great experience!

1.00I would not recommend Octopus Catamaran in Aruba based on our experience. The booking information stated that we needed to arrive by 1:00 PM, and we arrived exactly at 1:00 PM. Despite this, the boat left without us. We politely asked if there was any way we could still board, but the manager laughed at us and said there was nothing she could do. We then asked if we could be accommodated on another boat at a later time, and we were told it would cost an additional $250 on top of the $500 we had already paid. When we asked if a full or even partial refund could be considered, we were told no. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer service was extremely disappointing, especially considering the amount of money we spent. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would strongly encourage others to consider other excursion companies in Aruba.
