This beautiful volcano is one of the most visited in Guatemala. Travelers rated it as the most beautiful volcano in all Central America. Its beauty is due to the twin volcano Fuego which is active and performs an extraordinary eruption for all the travelers at the camping area on Acatenango.

Preset cabin for 2 or 4 people with mattresses of 5″ or 12 cms, pillow, extra blanket, sleeping bag -6C & waterproof carpet to keep you warm. (The cabin will be shared between 2 or 4 people if they are traveling together).

12PM: PICK UP AT YOUR HOSTEL: Our vehicle will pick you up from your hostel at 12pm. Please be ready with your check out done and luggage on storage room

12:20PM: SUPPLY CENTER: At the supply center we will provide you everything that you need, we need to pack fast to continue to the entrance of the volcano!

1PM: RIDE TO ACATENANGO: We have 45 minutes to the private road

2PM: START THE DRIVE UP: We take the before picture with the whole group.

2:20PM: LUNCH TIME: After the first 20 minutes, the group will stop for lunch. That way you have 45 minutes to enjoy the view.

3:10PM: PARKING LOT: Arriving to the camping lot, Take the equipment and walk 45 minutes to the campsite.

3:45PM: CAMPSITE: Arriving to the campsite, the guides will prepare Guatemalan hot chocolate (Real Kakao) as a reward for your effort and to enjoy the volcano.

7:00PM: DINNER TIME: Whenever you get hungry the guides will prepare the dinner for you. After dinner you can go to sleep or watch the volcano all night long.

4 AM: TOP OF THE VOLCANO: Be ready to hike to the top of the volcano, it takes 1.5 hours to reach the top. Enjoy the sunrise!

7AM: BREAKFAST TIME: When you return to the campsite, the guides will prepare breakfast for you.
