  Our driver Mishra (English speaking) was a highlight of the trip, he not only had a ton of knowledge about the places we visited but was also personally committed to making this experience in Jaipur the best. Booking through their website and WhatsApp was seamless and Aqeel made it easier for us to pay for the tour offering many options (credit card, cash, local or international currency). Thanks for a great experience in the beautiful pink city!

  This trip was one of the most memorable trips we ever had in India. I would recommend Janu Private Tours to everyone who needs comfort and quality. I have no words to thank the team of Mr Kamal, Driver Mr Akshay and Guide Mr Surya. My wife had this tour with two young children and her father who is 74+. Mr. Kamal treated us like family members. It was very hot and my kids threw up a couple of times. But Janu Travels were very considerate and took care of them. Explained each and every detail of the Forts and Palaces to my kids. I think my 12-year-old son felt why we call it 'Incredible India' and 'Unity in diversity. Mr Akshay went the extra mile to cover most of the places in Jaipur in 6-8 hours. Kids did some activity at a rug shop to learn how to print on a piece of cloth. Jaipur is a UNESCO Heritage site and has a lot to offer. Like the city, its people are also very kind and humble. Thanks to Mr Kamal for everything.

  Following my daughter's experience with Janu Tours in October 2022 and subsequent recommendation, I contacted Janu about a tour I wished to undertake in January 2023. Planning could not have been simpler! A couple of WhatsApp messages giving Janu the date on which I wanted to be picked up in Delhi, the places I wanted to visit on the tour and a return date to Delhi were all he needed. No hassle with forms to be filled in or deposits to be paid. Don't be dissuaded using WhatsApp! Or the minimum amount of communication! It's all part of the service designed to make your tour as comfortable and stress-free as possible! Our driver, Akshay, collected us from our accommodation in Delhi with a large car, as requested, at the precise time discussed. He was our driver for all of the four-day tour and was all that you could ask for in a companion/ driver; friendly, courteous, helpful and best of all an excellent driver. I would highly recommend requesting him if he's available. For the tour I simply provided Janu with a list of places I wished to visit en-route to Jaipur, Agra (Taj Mahal), Fatephur Sikri, Chand Baori and a few places in Jaipur. Unlike many tours, which are very structured, the guides for our tour, in conjunction with Akshay, discussed start times and the next day's proposed itinerary the evening before to ensure it met with our approval. Our three guides on the tour, one for each of the sites we visited, are worth a special mention. Vikram, Raj and Khan guided us through entry to the various sites, deflected souvenir sellers and provided not only information about the sites but lots of interesting anecdotes as well. Again, I would request these guides by name if they are available. During our visit to Jaipur, we stayed in the Marigold Inn-Homestay owned by Janu. A TripAdvisor review is posted on the Marigold Inn- Homestay website. On presentation of our bill for the Tour, Accommodation and Subsistence we were pleasantly surprised at the total cost given the overall experience. In summary if you want to experience a relaxing and stress-free tour of India's Golden Triangle, encompassing most of its highlights, at a reasonable price, then do not hesitate to use the services of Janu tours. You will not be disappointed!

  Good and clean vehicle. Well behaved driver. On time service. I travelled from Delhi to Jaipur with one day stop over at Agra. The travel was comfortable and very convenient. I strongly recommend and I hope to use it again in future.

• Fabulous Rajasthan Tour!

  We had a fabulous two-week tour of The Golden Triangle and Rajasthan in December. Although we booked our own flights and accommodation Janu and his team did everything else: the driver, the guides, the attractions and the restaurants. And it was great. We started in Delhi, then went on to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, across to Jaipur (the Pink City), on to Jodhpur (the Blue City) and down to Udaipur (the Lake City). From their we flew to Mumbai. We were picked up at Delhi airport by our driver, Jaheer, in a virtually brand new Toyota Innova Crysta that was just the right size for me, my wife and my 19-year-old son. We stayed two or three nights in each city and Janu’s team organized a guide for a day in each. We’d like to thank Raj in Delhi, Rahul in Agra, Raj in Jaipur and Kumar in Jodhpur. All were super knowledgeable and proud of their cities and really did bring the locations and sites to life. We also stopped off at Fatehpur Sikri and Mohammed was also excellent. In Jaipur we actually met up with Janu and he was kind enough to invite us over to his new boutique hotel, the Marigold Inn (superb – well worth checking out if you’re staying in Jaipur) and we had dinner with him and some of his team. We had a great evening learning about their own journey and Janu's plans for the future. We can’t finish this report without a final special mention for our driver Jaheer… he was simply the best! Smart, knowledgeable, punctual, professional and thoughtful. He had a sixth sense for what was happening on the road; be it cars, motorbikes, scooters, pedestrians, cows, buffalo, dogs or monkeys… nothing ever phased him. He also had two other attributes that set him apart: first, his great sense of humour and second, his uncanny ability to find a clay-pot masala-chai vendor whenever you needed one! Thanks again to Janu, Jaheer and the entire JPV team for a superb tour of your beautiful country. Give us a call the next time you are in London – you will be most welcome!

• Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi to Agra to Jaipur

  I hired Janu Private Tours for a three day tour. They picked up my daughter and I from the Holiday Inn at Aerocity in Delhi and took us to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. We stayed the night at the Jaypee Palace Hotel in Agra. Then, we sent to Jaipur where we stayed two nights at the Vijayran Palace Resorts. Both hotels were excellent. In Jaipur we saw several sights including the Elefantastic, Amer Fort, Monkey Temple, Palace of Winds and more. My driver was named Jeetu. He spoke excellent English as well as French and some languages. Jeetu was one of the best guide/drivers that I have ever had. He gave us lots of options to choose from and was extremely flexible. I will be recommending him to my company when others come here in the future.

  

  

  

• Great tour of Jaipur with Sher Singh

  I was in Delhi for a work trip and wanted to check out Jaipur during my day off. I really loved the tour of Jaipur with my guide Sher Singh as he was very knowledgeable and very professional. Jaipur is just beautiful and I had such a great time there! I wore a lovely sari that an Indian colleague of mine gifted to me and Sher took some great photos of me during the tour as well. I also got to speak with the owner Janu and you could tell he really took pride in his operation and customer service was the top priority for him. For lunch, Sher recommended the Grand Peacock Restaurant and I had the best non-veg thali! It was really delicious and wasn't expensive. Some tour companies will take you to some expensive places where they're friends with the owners or they get a cut from the restaurant for taking you there and I'm glad it wasn't like that here. We also went to a gem store (my choice) and I did not feel pressured at all to buy anything, which is another thing that sometimes happens with these kinds of tours. I would definitely want to book with Janu and Sher next time and highly recommend them!

  

  

  

  

• An amazing visit to Jaipur

  We could not have had a better day trip to Jaipur. We were looked after from the minute we left our hotel for New Delhi Station with an amazing 4 course breakfast to being met by Janu at the station for Jaipur. Janu was the proud organiser of travel for the cast of the series the Real Marigold Hotel and even prouder to drive the 3 of us around Jaipur. ( Ha Ha) The guide was excellent and told us many interesting stories about the beautiful city of Jaipur, which culminated in a visit to a place where the speciality Jaipur Rugs were made on the premises and then home to another 5 course meal on the train while travelling back to New Delhi Staion and onwards to the hotel. A fantstic day and thoroughly recommended.

  Mr Janu organised the most amazing day in Jaipur for myself and two friends. He tailored the tour very specifically to our requirements and we were looked after perfectly from being collected from our hotel in Delhi to being safely delivered back there in the evening. Every detail was considered and I highly recommend Mr Janu and his excellent company!
