Bimmah Sinkhole
Depart from Muscat at approximately 8:30 AM to begin your coastal adventure. Your first stop is the stunning Bimmah Sinkhole—a natural limestone crater filled with clear turquoise water, often believed to have been formed by a meteor.
Fins
The next stop to Fins Beach, It is strikingly white, curiously pebbly, incredibly blue and jaw- droopingly amazing.
Wadi Shab
Then we continue drive to Wadi Shab this Wadi is an enormous canyon gorge that is lined with palm trees and impressive indications of what the power of the water coming down from the mountains can do in nature. With around 35-minute hike up through the canyon Wadi, we arrive at one of several crystal-clear water pools. Tourists can swim on through the warm waters from pool to pool. Eventually, we come to the last pool where an opening among the enormous rocks allows us to swim into an incredible crevice cave with a small waterfall. Inside, the sunlight filters in from the outside, turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue whilst water showers down one side of the cave from the wadi beyond.
Wadi Tiwi
The next stop is the Wadi Tiwi photo stop at the beginning, which is named after Tiwi village at the coast, is a beautiful wadi with the lush plantations giving it a different (certainly greener) feel than many other wadis.
Al Hadd
After your Wadi Shab adventure, Fins Beach, and Bimmah Sinkhole visit, you will drive back to your hotel to rest and stay overnight at Turtle Beach Resort. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel. If you wish, you can also join a turtle-watching experience later in the evening. Please note that the entrance fee is not included in the tour price, as this activity is optional. Simply inform our guide if you would like to participate.

Sur
Depart the hotel after breakfast, then today we drive to Sur, In the morning we will show you the City of Sur with some old fortresses and the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where you can see traditional wooden Dhows being built.
Next, we will drive onwards to visit the Omani Ghazal Farm in Al Kamel (Asilel Farm), a unique and fascinating destination in Oman. This farm is home to a variety of Omani wildlife, including the graceful Arabian gazelles, and offers visitors a chance to learn about local conservation efforts. You will also see other animals and traditional farming practices, making it a great spot to experience rural Omani life up close. The visit is both educational and interactive—perfect for nature lovers and families alike. Don’t forget your camera, as the farm provides excellent opportunities for photos of the wildlife and the scenic surroundings.
Wadi Bani Khalid
Next, we will drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the largest and most breathtaking wadis in Oman. Famous for its clear emerald pools, dramatic canyon landscapes, and lush palm-lined banks, Wadi Bani Khalid is a perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. Here, you can swim in the natural pools, sunbathe on the rocks, or simply relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. It’s also an ideal location for a picnic amid the serene beauty of the wadi. Whether you’re looking for adventure or tranquility, this wadi offers a unique experience that captures the essence of Oman’s natural charm.
Wahiba Sands
In the late afternoon, we continue your journey to the Wahiba Sands, a vast and breathtaking desert landscape. Here, you can relax at a traditional Bedouin house, enjoy Omani coffee with dates, and, if you wish, take a camel ride (optional, approximately 7–10 minutes for 3 OMR / 8 USD per person). As the day draws to a close, experience the stunning desert sunset from one of the towering sand dunes—a truly unforgettable sight. We conclude the day with a buffet dinner at the desert camp, followed by a relaxing evening under the starry desert sky.

Birkat Al Mouz Ruins
After breakfast at the camp, we continue your journey towards Birkat Al Mouz, one of Oman’s most charming and historic old villages located at the foothills of Jebel Akhdar. Here, you will explore the traditional mud-brick houses that tell stories of the past, surrounded by lush date palm plantations that create a beautiful contrast against the rugged mountains. The village offers a peaceful atmosphere and a glimpse into authentic Omani life. A highlight of the visit is the ancient Falaj Al Khatmeen irrigation system, a UNESCO-listed falaj that has been supplying water to the village for centuries. You can walk along the narrow channels and see how this remarkable system still supports agriculture today. From Birkat Al Mouz, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding oasis, mountains, and abandoned ruins—perfect for photography and soaking in the natural beauty before continuing your journey.
Jebel Akhdar
We continue to Al Suwjara Old village at Jebel Akhdar. The first stop on the mountain is the charming Al Suwjara Old Village. This hidden gem offers a unique glimpse into traditional mountain life in Oman. As you walk through the narrow pathways, you’ll see beautifully preserved stone houses built into the cliffs, showcasing the ingenuity of ancient architecture. The village is surrounded by lush agricultural terraces where locals grow pomegranates, roses, walnuts, and other seasonal fruits. During the blooming season, the area is especially beautiful and filled with natural colors and fragrances. From Al Suwjara, you can enjoy spectacular views over deep canyons and dramatic landscapes, making it a perfect spot for photography and peaceful exploration. The cool mountain breeze and quiet surroundings create a refreshing contrast to the desert, offering a truly memorable experience before continuing the journey through Jebel Akhdar.
Jebel Akhdar
We continue your journey deeper into the mountains towards the famous Diana's Point. This spectacular viewpoint is named after Princess Diana, who once visited this very spot, and it offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Jebel Akhdar. From here, you can admire dramatic cliffs, deep canyons, and the vast mountain landscape stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s a perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. we will drive to Sama Hotel Jebel Akhdar for your overnight stay. Nestled on the edge of the mountains, the hotel offers stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. Upon arrival, you can check in, unwind, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. In the evening, relax at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and take in the quiet atmosphere of Jebel Akhdar. The cooler climate and serene environment make it a perfect place to rest and recharge for the next day’s adventure.

Nizwa Fort Oman
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Nizwa, the historic former capital of Oman. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Nizwa Fort, a majestic 17th-century fortress that now serves as a fascinating museum. Explore its impressive architecture, winding staircases, and ancient defensive structures, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the bustling town and the surrounding rugged mountains. This is a perfect spot to immerse yourself in Oman's rich history and culture.
Nizwa Souq
After exploring Nizwa Fort, take a stroll through the vibrant Nizwa Souq, one of Oman’s most famous traditional markets. Here, you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere, filled with colorful stalls, the aroma of spices, and the chatter of local vendors. Take your time to browse and purchase exquisite Omani silver jewelry, traditional handicrafts, pottery, textiles, and other authentic souvenirs. The souq is also a great place to observe daily Omani life and enjoy the rich cultural heritage of this historic town.
Al Hamra
After your time in Nizwa, drive toward the scenic Al Hamra Old Village, one of Oman’s most beautifully preserved traditional settlements. Wander through narrow lanes lined with centuries-old mudbrick houses, some of which are over 400 years old, showcasing traditional Omani architecture. Explore the charming courtyards, ancient wooden doors, and intricately carved windows that tell stories of life in Oman long ago.
Misfat al Abriyyin
Next, continue your journey to the mountain village of Misfah Al Abryeen, perched on the slopes of the rugged Hajar Mountains. This picturesque village is famous for its ancient stone and mudbrick houses, some of the oldest and best-preserved in Oman, offering a glimpse into traditional mountain life. Stroll along the narrow, winding alleys lined with date palms and small terraces, and admire the ingenious ancient falaj irrigation system, still used to bring water to the village’s gardens. The serene atmosphere, breathtaking mountain backdrop, and historic architecture make Misfah Al Abryeen a truly magical spot for photography and cultural exploration, giving visitors a sense of Oman’s timeless heritage.
Jebel Shams
After exploring Misfah Al Abryeen, continue your drive to Jebel Shams, famously known as the Grand Canyon of Oman. Towering at 3,009 meters (9,872 feet), it is the highest peak in the country and offers spectacular panoramic views of deep canyons, rugged cliffs, and terraced villages below. Take in the breathtaking scenery, capture unforgettable photos, and enjoy a moment surrounded by Oman’s dramatic natural beauty. After your visit, begin the drive back to Muscat. Your memorable day of cultural and scenic discoveries comes to an end here. Driving from Jebel Shams to Muscat will take around 3 to 4 hours drive. The tour concludes – goodbye Oman, until next time!
