  This is an extremely well run and realized wine tour. I had narrowed down the wineries we wanted to visit over the three days we were in the Valle, and Freddy our driver-guide made useful suggestions which we took advantage of as well. The wine area is beautiful, but there are now 180 or so wineries, so a guide is essential if you are a serious wine afficianado or even if you are not. We drove over 2700 miles on out trip to and from Baja without a guide, but we can tell you that it would be folly to try to find many of the smaller and better wineries without a driver, Most roads are dirt and rough and their are few signs, Stick with Daniel,s group and you won't be disappointed or lost.

  Booked transportation to valle de gualdelupe for 4 of us when we came to ensenada on a cruise. The company was easy to work with, answered all questions promptly, and arranged for us to go to 3 wineries. Our driver was Jose aka Pepe, who provided us excellent service. He was very knowledgeable about the area, giving us a lot of history we wouldn't otherwise have known. DC tours and our driver made sure we were back to the ship ontime and we had a worry free day excursion away from the larger crowds of the cruise tour.

  Great service! We really appreciated the border pick up to Valle de Guadalupe. Freddy our driver even waited several hours for us to cross and meet him as there was an unexpected 5 freeway closure that delayed us more than expected. He was friendly and made sure to make us feel comfortable and not to worry. He was our driver the entire weekend for dinner service and wine tour. He made great recommendations and made our trip run smoothly.

  First time in Valle De Guadalupe, but definitely not last! We were a little apprehensive and uncertain about taking this trip considering we knew no one that had been there before to give us any feedback or advice. We had an amazing adventure, and a big part of that was having Freddy and Daniel to guide us through. They arranged transportation for us from the border to our hotel in VDG. Both of them were very responsive and knowledgeable about the area, wineries and restaurants. They arranged an itinerary customized to our schedule and graciously took us to many amazing wineries and dining options. We felt completely safe and it was a relief not to have to worry about driving anywhere. On this trip, it was just my husband and I so we had Freddy and his car at our disposal. We live in LA and have been to many of the best eateries in the world. We also drink enough wine to know a little about the good stuff. The food at the restaurants and wineries was some of the best we’ve had, ever! There were also some pretty amazing wines. Our hotel was incredible too so we just had the best time! But in the end, our experience was shaped primarily by having services of Freddy and Daniel from. DC Wine Tours.   We had Daniel Cortes pick us up from the border and drove us straight to the resort. He was super friendly and knowledgable. And shared a lot of great insights on the location on the way. We will definitely look for him the next time we are heading to Ensenada! Thanks Daniel!
