• Fantastic private tour for a family

  Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids aged 12, 9 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed our private tour around LA (from Anaheim). Brooke our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made sure our day worked well. From providing a booster seat for our 6 year old (without being asked), to knowing the right amount of time to spend at different places and what the kids would find enjoyable - Brooke went above and beyond. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to LA with kids and who don't want the hassles that come with a big tour grip.

  We did two tours with Anaheim Tour Company. From booking and organising to actually doing the tours, the entire team was so helpful. They were quick to respond when i was looking to book the tours, easy to deal with and pick up times for the tours was spot on with the advised times. Brooke did both our tours and was excellent. Brooke was able to accomodate what we wanted to do on our private tour and even was able to take us through the drive through and In and Out Burger so we could try it for the first time. Would definitely use Anaheim Tour Company again if we ever make it back to LA.

  Tom was an amazing guide. Very knowledgable and a great sense of humor. He was so accommodating with our last minute booking and really provided an excellent experience. HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely book with The Anaheim Tour Company on our next visit to the area.

• The Walt Disney history tour

  The Anaheim Tour company went beyond words in offering my husband and I a private tour of the history of Walt Disney himself. This tour is no longer offered by their company as a public tour but you can book it as a private tour adding or subtracting any stops you like. The night before we received our text from Tom who was our tour guide as to when to meet him in front of our hotel the next morning. We got in the back seat of a very comfortable tour van while he outlined our itinerary for the day. Our tour would include Uncle Robert's barn garage, Hollywood, Walt Disney studios, lunch at Tam O'Shanters, visit to the Disney family memorial in Forest Lawn, Uncle Robert's house, notable places in Glendale including the former site of the Hyperion theater which is now a supermarket, the Walt Disney concert hall, and the Biltmore hotel. Tom gave us a comprehensive story about the life and times of Walt Disney. With each stop we made he took pictues of us for keepsakes. On our way to and from LA we listened to Disney music and watched videos that included Walt Disney in his own words and his original vision for EPCOT center to name a few. The only stop we couldn't make was the carousel in Griffith park which led to his inspiration to create Disneyland. That property is not under any current ownership and the Merry Go round is currently not operating. After our tour he sent me a video of it as a keepsake. During our tour we learned how Walt worked out of a garage and his own home in Glendale was extremely small. Walt Disney spent a good deal of his life in a small area of Glendale. His cremated remains are in the family memorial garden along with his wife and daughter in Forest Lawn. Although we could not enter the Walt Disney studios we posed for a photo op outside. We had a delicious lunch where Walt himself frequently dined at Tam O'Shanter's, saw some of the famous sites of Hollywood including the sign, the Dolby theater, the walk of fame, and the Chinese theater. Check out Ghiradelli Hollywood. We didn't have time to get a snack there but the artwork is phenomenol! Seeing the architecture of the work Frank Gehry of the Walt Disney concert hall nearly blew me away. This is the home to the opera. Inside is just as breathtaking! We loved seeing the art deco of the historic Biltmore hotel, the former lobby is called the rendezvous court. Three academy awards ceremonies were held here. A giant picture near the foyer shows Walt Disney himself not far from David O' Selznick, and a young Henry Fonda. Anaheim tour company services most hotels in the Anaheim area with direct pickup and return services the day of your tour. Tom made sure we were back at the hotel right as scheduled and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this tour company for any of your sightseeing needs while visiting Southern California. • A Great Day in LA

  Our extended Private Tour was everything my family and I had hoped for. The service was prompt professional, informative, fun and very well done. We had a lot that we wanted to see in a one day tour and Brooke did a great job of getting it all done. If we were doing it on our own it would have taken us 3 different days to get to all the places. The time saved, the stories and items pointed out that we would have missed along the way was so worth it to us. It was truly more than we expected and we highly recommend Anaheim Tour Company.

  We had a wonderful day out with Tom and Anaheim tour company. He took us all over the LA area showing us all we had asked to see plus pointed out many other famous buildings and locations. My two teenagers loved the day and were so engaged in what we were seeing. Tom was friendly and funny and it felt like being shown around by a friend. Great family day! They can really customize the day to what you want to see

  These folks are wonderful!!!! My family and I were lucky to enjoy a private half-day tour with Brooke and a full-day tour with Tom called ‘The Walt Tour’. Both were spectacular, and Brooke and Tom were incredibly nice and accommodating. Definitely we recommend these great folks with such wonderful service!

  They helped us arrange a perfect once in a life time holiday, communication outstanding, within a day and thats good due to time difference. Unfortunately COVID came along and we are not able to go, immediately they agreed to a full refund no fees applied and kept me informed all the way of the process. Refund received within 7 days, thanks once again Tom, cant wait til we are able to come over and enjoy a private tour with you

  For our families very first trip to California, we wanted to book a private tour so that we could see all of the sights that we wanted to see. This was also going to be a graduation present for our daughter for graduating high school so we had a 2 week Cali trip planned. We were originally scheduled for our tour on March 27th but Covid19 had different plans. We ended up rescheduling for mid-April which we then had to change again as places remained closed and states were on lockdown. So we ended up changing to mid-June and just last week, our hotels cancelled our reservations as they were still not going to be ready to open... This group has been amazing the entire way. They were extremely helpful when setting up the locations that we wanted to go to and then being patient with us while we had to keep constantly changing our dates. Ultimately we had to cancel our entire plans thanks to Disneyland proactively canceling our hotel plans in early June and when I reached out to the company, they were very kind and completely understand that we could no longer travel the rest of this year due to other commitments. They were able to provide us a full refund and when we are finally able to take our 2 week trip to California, I will DEFINITELY be booking with them again. If you want to take a tour of LA but don't want to do the cookie-cutter tours, I highly recommend this company. I know it will worth the price once we can finally do it!
