  We (father and daughter) were very lucky to climb Kilimanjaro with African Trek and Travel - and I can say that it was an absolutely fantastic and unforgettable experience from start to finish! Even before the actual tour, everything was excellently organised: communication was clear and reliable, all questions were answered quickly and you always had the feeling that you were in the best hands. This was only confirmed on site - from the pick-up at the airport to the accommodation and the actual climb, everything was perfectly thought out and smoothly organised. The entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming. Every single person - from the cook to the porters to the guides - contributed with a smile to making us feel comfortable and welcome at all times. I would particularly like to emphasise our two guides, Sebastian and Valence. They were not only extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but also incredibly caring and motivating. They always made sure that we were doing well, that we were drinking enough, eating enough and adapting to the pace. With a lot of patience, humour and empathy, they guided us step by step to the summit. The comfort provided by the team was absolutely amazing. For example, there were hot water bottles in the evenings - things that made the hike a lot easier for us. The food during the tour was also excellent - varied, fresh and surprisingly tasty for the conditions at high altitude. You could tell how much love and organisational talent went into the work behind the scenes. Thanks to this dedicated and professional team, we were able to reach the summit safely and happily - a moment I will never forget. This experience was not only a physical challenge, but also a journey full of humanity, team spirit and gratitude. Especially in comparison to other tour providers that we observed during our hike, I can highly recommend African Trek and Travel. If you want to climb Kilimanjaro, you are in the best hands here - well organised, safely accompanied and with a lot of heart! A company that really looks after the individual personally and where you feel safe and in good hands.

  We went on two amazing treks with African Trek & Travel (4 days on Mount Meru and 7 days on Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route) and both were unforgettable experiences. From the very beginning, the team was fantastic. They made what could have been tough climbs feel a lot more manageable and even enjoyable. Everything was super well organized, from the trekking itself to the transfers, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. What really stood out was the warmth and spirit of everyone involved. Sebastian was incredible (kind and genuine person who made a big difference). Along with him, Emmanuel (who helped guide us), another Emmanuel (who took care of us at meal times), Kessy (our cooker), and the rest of the group created a really friendly and supportive environment. They were always watching out for our safety and wellbeing, which let us focus on soaking in the stunning views and the thrill of the climbs. Thanks to this amazing crew, we achieved our dream of reaching the rooftop of Africa! A memory that will stay with us forever. We can’t recommend African Trek & Travel enough. If you want more than just a hike, if you want an adventure filled with good vibes, laughter, and real human connection, this is the team to choose.

  Outstanding expérience thanks to Sebastian and all his team. Sebastian has taken care of us all the time, from the airport to the top of Kili. It has been a fantastic human expérience, lot of fun, lot of emotion too, and at the end the pleasure of sharing the sumit all together...thanks to the dream team.

  Hiking up to Mount Kilimanjaro is something I had always dreamed of doing! Sebastian and his crew made sure we had the best time. The porters were amazing and the cook produced delicious food every day which was delivered by our personal waiter. The hottie at night time kept us warm and cosy! Big shout out to our guides who made sure we got safely to the top!

  Sebastian definitely went above and beyond to make sure we successfully summit Kilimanjaro. His support, good spirit and lovely personality made this experience a really unforgettable one for us. We were very well taken care of and he made sure we are as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend him if you are thinking of undertaking his challenege.

  Sebastian is absolutely the best guide we ever booked a trip with :) he met and surpassed all our expectations and made it possible to hike Kilimanjaro and do Safaris in very limited time we had, he helped us from the moment we landed in Tanzania till the moment we left :) we would not be able to hike Kilimanjaro without him, he is so helpful, has a lot of experience and knowledge as a guide and is simply an amazing person to travel with :) I can’t fully express my gratitude for his help and professionalism, it was an amazing time together! If you are planning to hike Kili, go for a Safari or simply have a good time in Tanzania, Sebastian is the absolute best person you can turn to. 11/10 experience.

  I had ana amazing time! I booked everything in a very short period of time and felt really confident from my first call with Sebastian, who explained everything in detail, helped me get safely to my hotel, revised my gear and advsed on what extra I should get. Even took me around for a little tour ;) The crew was absolutely amazing, Amine and all the porters we terrifc! The food, the private toilet (dreamy) and all the support during the 7 days. The introdution day by the feet of Kilimanjaro was my favorite and also my favorite camping spot. I started getting quite slow after we passed 5K but we with the support and positive vibes of all and specially Sebastian I was confident I would summit it and I did!!! Im super proud and super happy to have had this amazing experience! Would reccommend African Trek and Travel to everyone! Thank you!

  The Mount Kilimanjaro crew in Tanzania truly brought out my best, making the experience incredibly rewarding. I can't stress enough how amazing it was to have our mountain guide share their extensive knowledge of the extraordinary flora, fauna, and geology with me. Overall, the climbing trip was absolutely captivating!
