  I booked the private tour for our group of six (aged 70, 65, 60, 41, 28 and 28). The driver picked us up at the hotel on time and drove us to the starting point of the tour, where our guide Sandesh was waiting for us. We already learned a few things from the driver during the ride. Sandesh far exceeded all our expectations with his in-depth knowledge of Mumbai. He gave us an overview of Mumbai's history, stopping at the appropriate locations and buildings. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. We were all very happy that we took this varied and extremely interesting tour. I can recommend the tour and Sandesh in particular without reservation.

  This was one of the best tours I have ever been on (and I’m lucky to have traveled a lot)! My guides, Dharavesh for the slum tour and Rakesh for the city tour, were just amazing. As a solo woman traveler, I felt so safe and comfortable with them and we had a lot of fun as they guided me through the city and taught me about the history of Mumbai. More importantly, as residents of the Dharavi slum, they taught me that even the poorest people in India find happiness and joy and are a thriving community that support each other in the absence of material possessions. I felt humbled and feel that this is a lesson learned I will take back to my life. I can’t rate this tour or my fantastic guides highly enough.

  We had an incredible experience with Mumbai Dream Tours and our guide, Rakesh! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable. Our tour began at Victoria Station (now Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus), where Rakesh shared the fascinating history of this iconic building and the background of the area we were staying in. From there, we explored Crawford Market, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. On our way to the Gateway of India, Rakesh captivated us with stories of Mumbai's history—from its Portuguese origins and how it got its name to the British rule and beyond. We also visited the Taj Hotel area, an architectural marvel, and then made our way to the iconic Dhobi Ghat, where we got a glimpse of the city's bustling open-air laundry system. The highlight of our tour was undoubtedly the visit to Dharavi Slums. It was an eye-opening experience that gave us a new perspective on the resilience and industriousness of the people there. Rakesh, being a local, provided incredible insights, making the experience respectful, educational, and memorable. The car provided for the tour was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the driver was excellent, ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey throughout the day. We highly recommend Mumbai Dream Tours and especially Rakesh as a guide. His knowledge, passion, and friendly demeanor made our day in Mumbai unforgettable!

  Had an amazing time with Rakesh who was both very knowledgeable and informative. Tailor made the tour as we were in between flights on the day of the tour to coincide with our onward flight. Well done to Rakesh for also being able to entertain a 9, 7 and 4 years olds and making the tour fun for all the family!

  We had a fantastic time with Rakesh seeing the sights sounds (and smells!!) of Mumbai - well organised trip that was well thought out, and Rakesh's knowledge of the slums and the wider city made us feel like we were getting the most out of the day. The slum visit will test your senses, but I highly recommend it as an experience to help you understand the way in which many people are living in this wonderful city.

  Of all the tours we took in India, we enjoyed this one the best, in large part because of our guide! Very enjoyable and attentive to our needs and desires! I am elderly and can't walk a long distance in the heat. He offered to carry a walking stool that i bring with me. He was very knowledgeable and conveyed that knowledge in an understandable and enjoyable way. The driver was on time at out hotel. He even identified a few buildings, when asked, on our way to meet the guide.

  Both tours were amazing! The guide showed us Mumbai, he told us about the history and the places there. We enjoyed the time a lot and can recommend both of the tours.
