The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. 5.00As a family of four (children 9&7), we could not have had a better experience and we are all truly grateful for this bucket list day! Starting off, the communication was brilliant! Informed and updated via WhatsApp which was really reassuring. We got picked up on time, as it was so early, they made us packed breakfasts 🥰 Our transport was clean and air conditioned. Drivers were lovely too. They accommodated our toilet breaks kindly. Once we arrived at Cairo we met out lovely guide, immediately built rapport with my kids which was great. We did a private trip up the River Nile which was very cool. We then got back in our transport and went to the museum. Our guide was SO informative. He also knew the good bits and how to avoid being hassled. After we went to the pyramids which was amazing. We had some amazing photos taken by our guide. Then we rode camels 🐪 to the pyramids. The pyramids were amazing. We then did the sphinx and again, our guide took us with enthusiasm and helped avoid us being hassled. Then we were taken to the quad bikes. The place we went was right by the desert so I didn’t have to ride on the roads (which are terrifying and I’ll be forever grateful for our lovely safe drivers). We had the best time in the sand dunes on the quad bikes. It was so much fun. The kids loved it and our guide took the BEST photos of us. So grateful. Then it was time to go home. Again, the drivers were so kind, stopping for toilet breaks and snacks. It was such a long day and they were great. Honestly, if you want a truly memorable experience, tailored to your family, this is the trip for you. The company was in constant communication to make sure everything was going okay and we got home safe. We have all agreed that this was the best experience of our trip. It was a very long day and was better than we could have expected xxx

5.00This was a very nice trip. With our guide Hany and driver Mohamed we were well equipped for our private trip. The minivan was very well maintained and Mohamed adapted his driving style to our 1.5 year old grandson. We first visited the Egyptian Museum and Hany took us to any exhibit at the right time. He told us a lot about it and with good knowledge of German. He then invited us on a short Nile ride, which we really liked. Afterwards we went to lunch and the pyramids of Giza. This was the highlight of the trip, with carriage ride and camel ride through the pyramids was already an experience. On the way back through Giza and Cairo we received a lot of interesting facts. Finally, to the restaurant Carlos for dinner, a very nice restaurant, service and food was top. We can recommend Phoenix travel and especially Hany for private trips. We were in good hands with him and Mohamed.

5.00Went for my 40th birthday, coming from New York and it was an amazing experience!! Our guide Hanny was the best. The experience was so magical and unreal. Riding the ATV with the pyramid as your background was so dope! Going back and will be going through this company. Lunch in front of the Sphinx was an experience you could only dream of! The Nile river was also top tier since we had an entire boat to ourselves! The museum was a great and educational experience!

5.00Super day to Cairo with our family (2 kids 9 and 11 years old) Picked up early (2:00) for trip to Cairo. Arrived in Cairo around 8.30 am and picked up guide Shariff there. Shariff very good guide. He had a lot to say and knew exactly where to go for beautiful photos. First did the felucca tour due to a long queue at the museum. Then the museum where the line was much shorter. Papyrus shop was not necessary for us. Short demo of how Papyrus is made, but otherwise very sales-oriented. Then a tasty lunch (rice with grilled chicken or rice with mixed grill) with a view of the pyramids. Then visited the pyramids ourselves, 1 pyramid inside. Camel ride past the pyramids and finally to the Sphinx. For children, we noticed that the day was getting long. Knowing that we also had a long drive back ahead of us, we decided to skip the ATV tour. Left Cairo around 4pm. We were back at the hotel in Hurghada around 11 p.m. We thought it was a big advantage that it was a private tour. No waiting times to pick up other people or if they have not yet returned to the bus, etc. The program can therefore also be adapted to your own wishes. And with Shariff, in addition to being a guide, he is also available as a photographer who took photos of us in the most beautiful places. All in all a successful day.
