5.00Amazing experience! First off Mario and Diego were so great with communication before the tour. Made things so easy for us and made us feel special! Diego picked us up at our hotel and gave some great information about his home town of Napoli on our drive to Amalfi. He recommended we use a tour guide of Pompeii that we thought we would not need. So happy we listed! Mario was a wealth of information and really gave us world class tour with so much detail of the amazing Pompeii history. Would gladly recommend them again and again.

5.00I can't fully express what an extraordinary experience we had with Mario as our guide. We were picked up at the port, spent our day traveling the Amalfi Coast and ended our afternoon by experiencing the wonders of Pompeii. The sights were outstanding, but the true jewel of the day was the level of support and expertise offered by Mario. Each of us (including some ornery teenagers) loved our day. Mario made the experience both interesting and deeply informative. As we completed our amazing tour of the Napoli area, we feel so fortunate that we had the benefit of Mario and the Visit Amalfi Coast tour company.

5.00Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day – A complete and unforgettable experience We visited Pompeii and Herculaneum with Mario and Diego and it was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip to Italy. Everything was organized impeccably: comfortable and punctual transfer in a brand new Mercedes, with air conditioning, which made the day extremely pleasant and stress-free. Diego, our driver, was fantastic — professional, friendly and always helpful. Our guide was Mario, a true expert, with an extraordinary archaeological background and a unique ability to tell these places in a clear, engaging and never boring way. Being Neapolitan, he transmits an authentic passion and a deep knowledge of the territory. In Pompeii he introduced us not only to the most iconic places, but also to the new excavations and the most recent archaeological research, explaining how the site is still evolving today. It was fascinating to understand what archaeologists are still discovering and how interpretations change over time. In Herculaneum, however, we saw another face of the Roman world: perfectly preserved houses, charred woods, incredible details rarely found elsewhere. Mario also explained the physical and chemical conditions of the eruption that allowed such an extraordinary conservation. The tour was perfectly balanced, rich in content but never heavy. Thanks to the skip-the-line tickets we avoided long waits and made the most of every moment. This was not just a visit, but a real immersion in history. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Pompeii and Herculaneum in an authentic, in-depth and high-level.

5.00Our driver, Eugene, was more than fantastic! We had only a short time in port while on a cruise ship and he took us to the town of Ravello. There we enjoyed a wonderful meal with amazing views and had some free time. Eugene was informational and funny and we had the best time with him. I would recommend this to anyone!

5.00We booked this trip off the recommendation of a friend, and I’m so happy we did. Everyone single person we worked with - while making reservations, our driver (Eugenio), our tour guide in Pompeii, and the restaurant they took us to - were so friendly and genuine. Eugenio was there right on time to pick us up at the train station and gave us a nice mix of history and humor the whole way. I will most certainly be passing along the favor of recommending this experience to our family and friends as well.

5.00It was an amazing experience from amalfi coast to Pompeii! Mario and Marcello were so smart in their history and even kept our 8 year old wanting more! They even gave us free time to explore!! It was so lovely having them provide transportation so we just got to relax and didn’t have to stress over logistics and directions. Would definitely recommend to anyone who cares about the rich history and culture of the area!

5.00We took a family day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast with Diego, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment he picked us up, Diego’s knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality made the entire day memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Pompeii and the region, and he tailored the tour perfectly to our family’s interests and pace. Diego also gave fantastic recommendations for lunch and shopping along the way—each stop felt thoughtfully chosen and added so much to the day. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend booking a tour with Diego. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00Would rate this tour more than 5 stars if possible. Diego was like being with a friend. He has a great personality and so helpful and accommodating. We had 2 couples and it was a wonderful day. Even helped us get. Guide for Pompeii last minute. And the Guide was a Giovanna and she was funny and so knowledgeable about Pompeii. She is actually an archaeologist and the knowledge she has is amazing. Learned so much and so many interesting facts. If you don’t take this tour you are missing something special.
